Today we’re all about pull ups & pull up regressions.

2) elbows out and down
3) squeeze shoulder blades together —

What would you do if you weren’t afraid?

It’s an awesome question not just about money but about how we live our lives. For it is fear that often stands in the way of harmonising our values with our actions. There is the fear of not fitting in, of being ostracised, of disappointing others, of failure or even success.

Yet there are times when fear isn’t a hindrance but a good thing. It can keep inappropriate impulses under control and it can remind us that what other people think—and think about us—matters.
.
Aristotle looked at fear from a positive side. He examined courage, the lack of which is cowardice and the excess of which is foolhardiness. Alone, courage doesn’t mean much. It is how it is applied to particular situations that counts. Courage means having the strength to do the right thing under the right circumstances. Cowardice is not having the fortitude to carry out what should be done, while foolhardiness is taking an action when it shouldn’t have been. Not rescuing a drowning person when you have a lifeguard’s ability is cowardice; trying to rescue a drowning person when you don’t know how to swim is foolhardy.

Big, irrational fears are phobias and it is easy to see how most interfere with leading a productive life. Phobias hold people back and most people would rather not have them.
.
The balance between too much fear and not enough of it is the proper place to be most of the time. Courage needs to be put to good purposes. So the question, "what would you do if you weren’t afraid?," leads to another question and that is, "what do you want to do with your life and why do you think that is a good thing?"

Il mal di testa può essere una vera tortura! Purtroppo il più delle volte non si hanno cause ben definite dove il medico può fare una diagnosi precisa. Altre volte, invece, la sofferenza può derivare da disfunzioni alla zona cervicale che comprime i nervi che arrivano su fino agli occhi. In questi casi la tensione muscolare (mal di testa miotensivo) può essere gestita e trattata con esercizi specifici che prevedano il rilasciamento muscolare e fasciale nonché il riequilibrio dei muscoli che stabilizzano il collo sul tratto dorsale. Particolari tensioni sui muscoli masticatori creano rigidità alla zona della nuca e possono anch’essi scatenare mal di testa. In questi casi è importante affidarsi ad un dentista per valutare l’uso di un bite o esercizi specifici che rilasciano i muscoli masticatori. A tal proposito l’osteopatia in ambito craniale è un utile alleato per gestire tensioni sulla mandibola e sul cranio. Da considerare inoltre che nei disordini degli schemi di respirazione i muscoli del collo diventano molti attivi per compensare una riduzione dell’attivazione del diaframma. Ecco perché anche il ripristino della giusta meccanica respiratoria può essere utile per allentare le tensioni sul collo e quindi ridurre gli attacchi di mal di testa.

Successfully completed my first spartan's race in Thailand 💪🏽💪🏽. The experience was wonderful. Running super elite category (13.5km with 30 obstacles) was tough. Struggled a lot after 10kms and failed in 2 obstacles( spear throw and the hoist ) so had to do 60 push up burpees🙈. And after 11kms I got very bad cramps in both my legs, so I had to stop for a while to recover. Other than that I am very happy that my running has improved so much and I could push a lot. I finished the entire circuit in 2hrs 15min. And my ranking was 79 out of 149 participants. Couldn't have done this without the training and support of @bullshark.menon. Thanks a lot vikram. Looking forward to train for the beast in Malaysia. I almost got kicked out of the gym for not wearing shoes, which I can sort of understand for the main sections of the gym... But these small rooms used for warming up, yoga, and KB flows should be allowed to go barefoot for optimal training benefits 🤔👣

I downloaded a movie maker app that confuses me. Technology is hard, but fun! I'll figure out how to make better quality videos so that my posts can be better to view. My goal is to be able to educate and inspire creativity. I didn't study kinesiology for nothing! ---------------- After this "test run", I added 10 push-ups to the beginning so that the total circuit time was about 60 seconds. The ground-to-overhead resemblance of a clean and press was 75 lbs, and the added weight to the sled was 50. I don't know what the sled weighs empty,  probably 50 lbs or so. Intenta practicarlo primeramente apoyando tus pies contra una superficie, una pared? Un arbol?📌 Tus piernas juntas, y experimenta hasta donde puedes ir llegando sin perder el control. 📌Crea tu propia consciencia de tu respiración y equilibrio: si te sientes inestable, tu concentración debe estar enfocada en reclutar tu Core/Midsection o lo que llamamos los abdominales. Por qué? Porque todo ejercicio parte desde tu centro: 📌vas mejorar el soporte de tu peso, sentir que tus brazos y abdomen se fortalecen y que se trabaja la estabilización, lo que activa a los músculos de tu espalda y alinean tu espina dorsal o columna vertebral. 🆒El camino al control y resistencia al máximo resulta de tu práctica y constancia. 📌Más desafío? Многие посетители тренажерных залов постоянно работают с одной программой. На протяжении месяцев она не меняется, бывает такое, что программа не меняется и спустя год. 
Это огромная ошибка. И если вы ждете результата, то время от времени корректируйте и видоизменяйте свою тренировочную программу. Не бойтесь пробовать новые упражнения. ✔Запомните! Ваши мышцы имеют свойство адаптироваться и привыкать, поэтому для лучшего результата их надо удивлять и шокировать. 
Самый оптимальный вариант заниматься по одной программе месяц — полтора.
✔Ежеденевный тренинг без отдыха 
Многие считают, что если заниматься каждый день, то и результат будет выше. Но это не так! Нашим мышцам нужен отдых на восстановление и на рост. 
Мышцы растут после правильной тренировки во время отдыха с правильным питанием. 
Еще один важный момент, что если не давать вашим мышцам и организму отдыха, то возрастает вероятность перетренированности.
✔Только кардио 
Основная ошибка большинства новичков в тренажерном зале, которые поставили задачу похудеть. Стоит понимать, что без силовых упражнений результат будет хуже и медленнее. 
Для начала, представьте, если вы скинете все ваши лишние кг, то в кого вы превратитесь? Ваши мышцы и кожа просто будут обвисшими. ✔Запомните раз и навсегда, чтобы похудеть, необходимо совмещать кардиотренировки с силовыми тренировками. Идеальный вариант при похудении – это вначале силовая тренировка, а в конце большая часть тренировки кардио.
