Is there something you've wanted to try but end up pushing to the side because you're not ready, too scared, or feel like you haven't trained enough? I know I do this often. But the times I decide to go for it even when I don't feel ready, I typically don't regret them. Yesterday I decided to finally go paddleboarding! 🚣 I figured if I can survive 25ks & a 50k that I could survive paddleboarding. 🏄 This has been something I've wanted to try for a while but was scared of falling in the water & not being able to balance on the board. It ended up being a lot of fun AND I didn't even fall in the water. 😏 These pics are from a couple weeks ago when my brother and I ran the Wildflower run. This was my 3rd 25k! I beat my first 25k race time by 8 minutes & I didn't fall (my first 25k resulted in falling on a sharp rock & stitches to follow 😬). #progress Moral of the story, if there's something you've been putting off, you should try going for it! protein bars •••••••> (in a blender combine) oats, protein powder, soft dates, maple syrup, cocoa powder, ground flax, almond milk or any liquid. press into a pan and stick them in the freezer for a bit (i don’t really measure so the proportions are up to you!) i covered them with pb2, chia seeds, almonds, and honey. voila!!!
