One of the most painful losses in my entire life was tragically losing my mom. And although we were not super close, I miss her dearly. And I'm extremely close to my own daughter and we talk about everything and anything. Whenever I miss my mom or something challenging is going on with my life I like to read the poem she used to keep on her nightstand just next to her bed. She had this poem framed with her since I was just a lil child. I remember reading it every time I went into her bedroom and she would ask, "how does it feel to be you?" Course, I'd reply, "It feels good!" So, I pass the poem to you for you to read in hopes if you're missing a loved one that passed, or if you're going through a hard time right now in life that it brings you comfort. No matter how alone you think you're, you're not. There are angels surrounding you just as they're surrounding me. So if you have zero people next to you right now know that you're not truly alone in spirit. And I am with you too. Hugs! 💕😇 Footprints 👣 in the Sand
One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. "Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."
He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you Never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."
I can’t study Property Law in one place for too long. Ever since we recently hung some original art on the wall, our bedroom feels much brighter and more welcoming. We love our Salt + Light series ‘Footprints in the Sand’ mixed media on 3-pieces of cavas. My favorite parts are the inspiration behind it and the fact that the artist used natural materials, such as three kinds of mediterranean salt. What talent Nana Banana has!
