I’m on salad duty for today’s bbq! I love summer salads with their bright colours, and they are so easy!
Salad 1 - spinach, tomatoes, olives and capers
Salad 2 - iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and celery
Salad 3 - cooked cooled broccoli dressed in olive oil and lemon Dressings of oil and balsamic/cider vinegar are on the side.
On rest days when I don’t workout, I like to try and limit my carb intake (not zero carb - that’s silly. Just less carbs than I’d typically have on workout days). But sometimes, you just need pancakes - especially at the weekend! I made these low carb pancakes and topped them with blueberries, full fat greek yoghurt, honey and flaked almonds. I haven't really shared my story so here it goes!
I have always been 'skinny' and when I started with Isagenix people said 'but you don't need to lose weight' 'youll be too skinny' 'you don't need it'. But I did need it!!!
I'm nearly 1 year on now and from the outside you can't really see my incredible transformation, however if you knew me you'd know that I was always sluggish, tired, no energy and just not feeling great about myself!
But now I am the happiest I've been with myself in a LONG time!!
I have energy, I have improved so much in the gym and am finally starting to put on muscle! Im not always tired anymore, I feel healthier and my immune system has improved massively!
I still have sweets when I go to the cinemas or pizza when I get together with my friends or stuff my face on holiday! But with Isagenix, you're able to bounce straight back! 💪🏼 The best part?!
