I’ve been quite for several weeks waiting impatiently for my cylinder head to return from the engine builder. It now sports Inconel +1mm intake and exhaust valves, double valve springs, new bronze valve guides and OEM valve stem seals. As soon as my head gasket gets here, I can start putting the car back together. #flyinmiata#carporn#moneypit

But... I do enjoy taking shit apart, replacing crap, and attempting to put it all back together.. With copious amounts of swearing of course. My personal favorites are "what the fuck" and "why the fuck."

There's something therapeutic about working on a car for me.. I know a lot of people tend to rush and try to get things done as quickly as possible, and I'll admit there have been times when I've had to as well (that pesky inaccurate estimation of the amount of time it would take). But this time, I'm taking my time. I want to make sure I'm doing it right and just enjoying my time. Although of course, I look forward to the finished product (well "finished for now" product, project car is never done lol).
