BESSIE BELLE AVAILABLE $95
If you’re looking for a totally unique multi-functional treasure let me introduce you to Miss Bessie Belle! She’s a vintage beauty who served as a typewriter table in her former life. She’s been up cycled into the Rustic Chic Industrial Charmer full of character and personality. Her look was created using a custom blend of Unicorn Spit Stain colors and Wise Owl Black paint. With her wheels in gear she’s ready to mooooove from room to room, and extend her side panels whenever you need a bit more space. Bessie Belle is truly a one-of-a-find sure to be the focal point of any space.
18” Wide, expands to 30”
My painting project is done (well almost...there are a few places I need to touch up) but now I’m ready to start putting things back on the walls and freshen up my decor. •
Sometimes displaying items is accidental. I moved this big cabinet to paint the trim behind it and I needed to remove the chalkboard that was on top of it. When it came time to paint another section of trim, I needed to move the corbels. I put them on top of this big cabinet. I kind of liked them there and I just started adding things. I first added a bowl of shells which reminded me I have a piece of driftwood. Then added more candles that went with the wooden ones I picked up at the @magnolia silos last year.
Ta da....and there you have it my accident spring display.
I went to London in February of 2017 and had pretty good luck at a handful of flea markets. I bought a few items and sold much of it straightaway, which is great because I could ship directly to my customers. A friend from architecture school bought a set of elevation drawings and so I asked if I could include a few others in the tube and he could take his and then send the tube to me when I returned in a few months. I’m glad he did because what wasn’t sent directly to customers was lost somewhere over the Atlantic! Argh! But after a long delay, I’m thrilled to be reunited with these hand drafted presentation sheets for a Council House designed and signed by L Magnus Austin. The plans and elevations are for the same building and will look brilliant framed as a set. If interested, I have frames as well... Oh, I also apparently stuffed a 1958 nautical chart of Cowes, Isle of Wight in the tube and assumed it was lost as well! Cowes is where I go to learn about globe making...
