There have been days where I feel like my clean form is solid, my mobility is where I want it to be, and my pull is strong. But there are other days where something feels off, my regular weight in clean high pulls are more difficult to execute than I remembered, and I ultimately just wanna throw in the towel and give up.

But then I remember that setbacks are all part of the journey, whether it’s in life or in Olympic lifting. You’re going to have days where you feel like you’re not where you want to be, you’re going to feel like you should just quit, and you’re going to find yourself more and more frustrated each time that happens. But just remember for every roadblock you hit, you’re one step closer to your end goal because every hurdle you face is another opportunity to learn, grow, and improve yourself.

When athletes pull the bar off the ground, we tend to see two things:
. The bar shifts the athlete onto the toes right away, and the athlete is left fighting the bar forward for the rest of the lift.
. The athlete excessively shifts his or her entire weight onto the heels in an attempt to sweep the bar back.
.
Solution: Find a partner, attach a band to the bar, and as you’re lifting the bar off the ground, have your partner GENTLY pull on the band.
.
The resistance on the band should be just enough to make you work on not falling forward but not so much that you’re now sitting too far back on your hamstrings and heels.
.
The weight should stay on your mid-foot, your lats should be engaged, and you should feel your midline having to work in overdrive to maintain balance and stability off the ground.
.

60g de fromage blanc 0%
40g de pépite de chocolat noir
1 càs de sucre de coco
2 càc de levure chimique 
1 càc d’arôme de vanille • •Vous montez les blanc en neige, vous mélangez tous les ingrédients et vous faites 4 boules 🍪
Et au four pendant 15 min à 180 degrés .
