Embarked on a new “journey” recently and am paying close attention to how I fuel my body before and after my training sessions. I am for sure a girl that likes her carbs but my body requires protein to perform at its peak. So when I was introduced to Kelly and @kleanplate my food life forever changed!

Lean tip: Layerssss! Something I’ve been doing for years, I used to see all those huge bodybuilders wearing big ol’ hoodies and such so I thought I’d give it a try and honestly it WORKS!
I rarely do cardio! (Once a week maybe..) ask my coach @rigoc.fit lol. Funny enough I am going through a bulk at the moment as well, so I’m trying to get in as many calories as I can to grow. And whoever says you can’t do a clean bulk, does not know how to do a clean bulk.. because it is very DOABLE.
You can bulk while staying shredded with minimal cardio!!!!!
I always say this, “Don’t work hard, work smart”
Find what works best for you and work around it.
Do just enough cardio that your body needs (people that hate cardio, like I do)
Layering up will help you burn the unwanted calories (for people trying to lose weight) - gets rid of that excessive water retention and better yet keeps the gym creeps away 🙄
I don’t come to the gym to socialise.. I’m really in my ZONE when I’m working out! 😤💪🏻

💥💥HOW TO GET “TONED”!!!!💥💥
👩Alright, this post is dedicated to all the women out there who are looking to get that toned look.
🤔But how do we achieve that look that most women are so desperately chasing? Let’s first talk about what ABSOLUTELY NOT TO DO.
You see, most women think that pouring on the cardio will do the trick. This is the worst advice you could ever give somebody that’s trying to get “toned”. I’d actually recommend to do as little cardio as possible because it’s so time consuming and you could use that time making gains in the weight room. No you won’t get bulky. That’s legit impossible. You women don’t have nearly enough testosterone to build as much muscle as men do. Also, from the women I’ve worked with, I’ve seen a staggering amount of impatience. This goes for everyone...Stay patient! Embrace the process.
SOOOO what you should you do? First off, lift weights, 2-4x a week should be good for most women, I have many clients who lift 5x a week but that is not required! Oh, and train every body part at least 2-3x a week!
Track your nutrition, if you’re trying to lose fat, stay in a moderate deficit and lift weights, that will make you lose fat and build muscle if you’re new to lifting weights.
Sleep tight! You recover when you’re sleeping so please, make sure to dial in your sleep!! 7-9 hours a night and optimize sleep quality!
Lastly, like I said, embrace the process! This stuff takes time!!!!!!
