Girls this vegan croissant was awfuuuulllll it was so oily I just had to leave it there and by leaving it there I mean brought it home for my sister 😂
I don't know how I haven't passed out yet! Been up for 6 hours, had blood drawn. A looottt of blood for some tests and still haven't eaten anything RIP my blood pressure.
So I had great intentions to work out today.... brought my gym clothes to work, all of that. Instead I ended up working 12.5 hours, and finished my day with a dog having a C-section. Seven healthy puppies, and mom is doing great. 😍😍.
My job has a lot of highs and lows, and can be incredibly hard at times, but nights like tonight remind me of how much I love it. I will NEVER be able to do anything else. This is absolutely what I was meant to do. ❤️.
Fan going full blast for that cardio + core Tabata workout. Kicked my 🍑! On a positive note I went to target and tried on some bras. So I had the opportunity to check myself or from behind. And not mad about it! Back and waistline are acceptable for now 🙂 #tiuteam#toneitup#fitbabesunited
I flexed and the sleeves fell off. Jk, I did Supasets and was feeling the pump after. Even though you don’t see it, there’s muscle there and let me tell you, it’s sore AF 💪🏻
I’m learning a very valuable in lesson that maybe instead of putting two arm-focused workouts side by side (or any body part), I should look at two different ones because MY ARMS HURT SO BAD AFTER DOING PUSH-UP AND ARM CIRCLE SEQUENCES 😭🙌🏻
Anyways, life is crazy folks. Work is crazy, but im loving every minute to it. Also, I’m 100% living that ughhh life 😂
🔥🔥 workout below 🔥🔥
Set 1: 20 sec push-ups, 10 sec rest, 20 sec Arm circles, 10 sec rest. Do for a total of 4 minutes

Thankful 👏🏻 for this sexy man and the rock, the foundation that he sets for our relationship and our life together. He has done nothing but support my dreams from day one and I am so excited that we are on this journey together 💕
This is what it looks like when you have a teething 8 and a half month old. This is what it looks like when the only way your baby sleeps is in your arms. Day 3 of not showering because your arms are so tired from holding a small human that you can’t imagine lifting them up above your head to wash your hair. This is what it looks like when you’ve been in a post partum depression funk for 8 and a half months. This is my reality. ▫️▫️▫️
Social media moms try so hard. Oh, you had time to work out while your child naps? I haven’t been able to set my kid down in three days. I love my kids, but dang, can a mama get a break? Sometimes I feel as if I’m drowning in diapers, baby tears, and breast milk. There are hard days... sometimes months. In between the hard days, are days where I may burst at the seams because I want to just bask in the glory of my children. I have to reset myself sometimes and apologize to my small humans. I tell myself that is my PPD talking. Deep down inside, I’m working on bringing myself back. Journaling, counseling, chatting with other women who are feeling just like me, my tribe... all these things help me focus on the task at hand. The focus of getting back to me. The biggest helping in this is knowing I’m not alone. ▫️▫️▫️
My life isn’t perfect. So many people put up this front on social media. I hope when you’re feeling imperfect, you stumble upon this photo of me. ▫️▫️▫️
You’re not alone. Read those words over and over again every time your kid colors on the wall. Read it every time you’re on hour 3 of trying to get your kids to bed. Let it sink in when it’s 2 pm and you still haven’t had time to brush your teeth. You are human and you’re amazing at it. If you need to reset, do it. Know that for every perfect day post you see, that mom has hard days too. Often times, people are only showing you the good. Refer back to this picture. Refer back to those words. You are FAR from alone. @notlaurencurl
Those are tears in Ruby’s eyes not in mine. That’s sweat. A lot of it. I did a hybrid of #bbg week 15 arms and different cardio stuff. I love jumping jacks and butt kicks. And chair taps. 😍😍🤷🏼♀️ It was hard to take 4 days off to heal but totally necessary and it hasn’t been that hard getting back into the swing of things. I haven’t ran since Thursday. So I’m going slow and steady tomorrow- just see where the feet take me. #motherrunner#fitmom#fitbabesunited#halfmarathontraining#bbgstronger
Is it too late for my #groceryhaul post?
I may have picked these up Sunday and never posted them.
Mostly every thing is our typical purchases.
As always, the chicken thighs and 2lbs of ground turkey are for my dogs.
For the next three nights, I am having lettuce wrapped turkey burgers with potatoes.
For breakfasts, overnight oats.
Lunches- sandwiches as always
One now thing, I got some plain Greek yogurt with powdered ranch mix to make a ranch dip for my veggies. I am burnt out on veggies the way I usually cook them. I figured if I added some dip, I would be more likely to want them.
Is there something you eat every week?
I don’t know about you, but when I think of step class I think of the 80’s and jazzercise. I know they’re not the same thing, but I can’t help the correlation between the two. All I see is Jamie lee Curtis thrusting pelvic muscles and her amazing long legs.
So when my friend told me she was doing a step class at the community center, I couldn’t help myself and sent her many 80’s jassercise memes. She swore it was updated and I needed to give it a try.
A few weeks later she roped me into it. We dropped off the kids at the kids club and setup our equipment. To my surprise there was more than just a step involved. We also needed mats and hand weights, what?
Class started, music pumping and with our very eager instructor we began working. The first part was what I remembered back in the 90’s, lots of choreographed stepping up and down off the step. Heart rate elevated, mistep here and there all to fun music. .
But then after the warmup is when it detoured to a more updated fitness class. The instructor would get off the step and lead us in a strength training move like bicep curls, crunches and lunges. After 2-3 minutes of the strength move it would go back to the traditional step choreography. This continued for the length of the class.
By the end of the class I sweating up a storm and fatigued. I can honestly say it was a great mix of cardio and strength training!
While I was disappointed there was no one in high cut leotards and leg warmers, I was really happy with the class and got a great workout.
