Rapper @khalif took the stage by storm at the @sfmoma #ModernBall tonight. The crowd wasn’t ready. I loved every second of it. He regarded the audience, and cooed, “This song is for the ladies, and the feminine people all over the world.” #ObservedSF
Works in progress for an upcoming story on the rich and poignant history of the many (many) disappearing gay bar in San Francisco. I knew some of the stories, but this has been a (much needed) education. I’m grateful to AE and TB for thinking of me for this assignment and for the opportunity to tell some of these stories.
