Later today at 3pm New York time, my friend Yusuf Ismail (who's not on IG) will be watching A Journey to from Love at the International Film Festival of New York! If you're in New York, come and watch the show! More info in my story.
About three years ago I made a feature film called Wild Men, a comedy about the making of a reality show hunting for proof of Bigfoot. I play the show's nasty host, Dick Heffelfinger. Last year, the film released on Hulu, and a few months ago on Amazon Prime.
I am incredibly proud of this film and my performance in it. It is very funny and ridiculous at times with lots of cursing, but I love it and I am glad it is now easily accessible. However - I only wish that more people saw it.
Those who have say great things. They even wrote some awesome reviews on Amazon. Today I am asking for your help in getting the word out more. I believe the film is worthy of a following, not just because of me, but the hard and spectacular work of the entire cast and crew. That's where you come in - it needs some grassroots support. If 90 minutes of laughs from a great ensemble doesn't tickle your fancy, feel free to pass.
But if you want to help a good project with good people get some real sea legs, then please:
1. Watch the movie and enjoy
2. Share the Amazon link which I'll provide (link in bio) and say some great things
3. Leave an Amazon review if you wish
It's as simple as that. I believed in this film when I made it, and I still believe in it today. But without that million dollar billboard in Times Square, it will be hard to gain some traction. Word of mouth proves our best bet.
I can't do much to repay you for your help, but if there is something I can help with, please reach out. We're all a team on this planet and I want your projects to succeed as well.
The link with trailer attached is in my bio. Thank you in advance for your support and help. Karma will take care of you 🙏

Venice Film Festival winner : Golden Lion
Strength: Screenplay, Directing, Musical score
Movie Rating.: 8.7/10
Director : Gillo Pontecorvo
A Raw and Remarkably Stinging film of unwavering allegiance and resolute patriotism transpiring in the mid fifties of a turbulent French colonised Algeria. Pontecorvo penned and directed the urban guerilla warfare led by Ali La Pointe and other significant characters who played a catalyst for Algerian freedom, after an indicative period of tenacious rallies, open protest and strong assertion of independence. The film is capable, potent and very much testimonial to understanding political upheaval highlighting not just on modern day usurpation but a focal point on human injustice, encroachment, assault, perrenial foray and essentially the absence of due process and right to live reflective of present day and real life occurences which every freedom loving citizen should be adamant about. A brilliant and effective historical film, Pontecorvo used the documentary news reel style of neorealism infuence complementing the black and white presentation. Ennio Morricone, showcasing his early works, is at the helm of its outstanding musical scoring responsible for the grip and tense each important scene brings. Battle of Algiers is a great film of historical importance and the quality of its filmmaking is plain superb. It earns my two thumbs up and is one cinematic experience one should endeavor to have 👌 #TheBattleofAlgiers#GilloPontecorvo#Algeria#Algiers#film#films#filmreview#filmreviews#filmfestivals#cinephile#filmnerd#filmgeek#cinephilecommunity#filmbuff#filmcritic#movie#moviejunkie#movienerd#moviefan#instamovie#instamovies#instafilm#instacinema#hollywood#movielover#moviebuff

Very excited to be taking Father of the Man to the Solaris Film Festival in Nice. The festival is inspired by Tarkovsky who is and always will be a huge inspiration to me so it’s very nice to be a part of it and in sunny Nice too! I’m presenting the film tomorrow at the 6 o clock screening at the Hotel Campanile! #solarisfilmfestival#filmfestivals#tarkovsky#poetry#filmmaking#nice
Featured in the upcoming @illuminatefilmfestival BEING WITH ANIMALS Sunday, June 3rd @ 1 p.m.
Is animal communication possible? The filmmaker explores the world of communication between animals and humans in an attempt to answer this question.
On an international journey that even leads her to Arizona, she discovers what it means to communicate with animals. Along the way she meets Maia Kincaid, a Sedona native, two horse teachers, a biologist, an animal therapist and the founder of "The Trust Technique". Getting familiar with animal language, Salome learns astonishing things about animal communication in its many forms whether it's with her dog Bina, horses, dolphins, or goats.
