- Slowly add water to the cooking process not all at once. Especially if using frozen okra as they will release water. After putting all the ingredients in the pot let cook at low/medium it will allow the flavours to really come out and have the most tender meat ever!
- I used lamb with its gorgeous fat and of course the bones which add so muchhh flavour!
- The fresh tomato has been blanched
Voilà! Bon appétit!! XOXO
When ordering out, If i want meat, i often choose to go for lamb. Its more likely to be grassfed, which means a source of omega-3 fatty acids. One of my local favourite restaurant to go to, get their lamb in the mountains some km from the restaurant. Ive visited the place and i know their conditions are good, alot of sunshine, freedom, and quality food. 🌱Happy animals, healthy meat. Also grassfed lamb contains CLA - conjugated linoleic acid. A group of chemicals found in the fatty acid. Why is that good? CLA has in studies shows to improve lean muscle mass- Therefor aid in weightloss and also found to have cancer fighting benefits. ⭐️Yes lamb does contain fat, which many people avoid like the devil, but worry not, the fat has a healthy profile and omega 3 is anti-inflammatory. 🙏Most pieces of good quality lamb contains even more omega 3 than grassfed beef. + both lamb and beef is rich in zink, iron and b12. 👌Yes you can get these vitamins and minerals in meat-free diets as well, but unfortunally the bioavailabilty, is often significally lower. Combine that with a gut out of balance, and anti-nutrients found in plants, you will have a harder time to absorb and take use of those vital nutrients for your body to thrive and your immunesystem to stay strong. 🖐🏻You dont need to eat meat, nor fish everyday, but i personally through my journey have found it good to include some high quality meats once in a while. We now have a very polluted ocean, and many choose to not consume as much omega-3 rich fish anymore, so choosing local and quality lamb can be a good option for some.
