Hi fitfam! 🏋️ Today's post is about 5 fitness myths.

I get baffled whenever young fitness enthusiasts talk about them.

Let me run them down :- 1.Crunches are the best way to lose belly fat. 😂 Basically we cannot spot reduce fat. Fatloss happens overall from the body. Fatloss could depend on genetics. We cannot target a particular area as such. 
2.More protein and less carbs will build lean muscle - there should be a balance in our macros and Its important to have good percentage of carbs and fats along with proteins for the body to function at its best. 
3.Stretching will prevent injuries - sometimes stretching cold muscles will actually harm them.we need to do a dynamic stretch at the beginning vof the exercise and static stretching at the end of the exercise. Warm ups are key before the exercise.

4.All you need is cardio and weights - exercise has 5 dimensions : strength,speed,agility,endurance and flexibility.

5.No pain,No gain - we should feel a slight discomfort, but we should not feel so sore that it affects our whole day.
