Glad to see that car seat safety is fit for a king! This little guy is getting the royal treatment. His blanket is over the straps instead of under it so that it won't leave the harness too loose to be effective in a crash. (Full article available on our Facebook page). Can't wait to hear what they name him. Any guesses? #carseatssavelives#fatherhood#thirdtimesthecharm#safetyfirst
The older I get the more it feels like time is speeding up. Invest your time wisely because it’s something you can never get back. Be present, enjoy this moment, take nothing for granted because in the blink of an eye it will be over with and gone. Love this 🙌@courtcola #motherhood#beherenow#timeisprecious#truestory#wisewords
@jamiesmoore and I decided to start taking our kids out individually on little dates, and last night was our first one with Grey. While we love being together as a whole family, there is something so special about being able to focus on just one kid at a time and strengthening our bond and giving them all of our attention. Last night was so much fun with Grey and we could tell his little love tank was so full. I'm excited for this new family tradition, and hope to be intentional with it throughout their childhood! I also need to be more intentional about sharing more of these amazing images @gregfinck captured of our family when we were in Paris last summer! #sinclairandmoorefamily#greysonclarkemoore#family#thatsdarling#fatherhood#parenthood
• Daddy Daughter QT •
As new parents we rely on one another to tag team raising GEM but there’s a natural imbalance since she was able to lay in with Mommy for weeks while Daddy worked. Well, Daddy had to take on GEM for the first time all alone and although we were concerned GEM would give him the blues they had successful bonding time!
Bonus: Mommy was able to go to a much needed hair appt💁🏾♀️
Here’s a few things that helped dad out:
💎 Fresh breastmilk. Mommy had a pumping session before her hair appt to prepare 6 oz and had it in a handy spot for Daddy upon leaving the house 💎 A rested baby. The appt was scheduled at 6:30am😑 but was perfect for Baby GEM’s sleep schedule. She woke up at her typical time, 7:30am after a full nights sleep, feeling playful instead of cranky.
💎 Tips and encouragement from Mommy. It can be hard on fathers having less bonding time with baby after birth due to work obligations. And with no paternity leave coupled with working long hours, which we tend to normalize here in the states, this gives many dads the only option but to bond with their babies at night during the week. This is extremely hard bc the baby is tired. Dad needs to be encouraged and told they are doing a great job too! Mommy can also share what toys, music, books/pictures, etc help sooth and engage baby. 💎 SWIPE for what we used in the Baby GEM survival kit
By now everyone should know how much I love cats, even more when they join family photos! Toby was such a champ. And did you know that it’s common for Siamese to be cross eyed? You never know where you’ll come across amazing cat facts.
You may not know why you were woken up so early.
You may not know the sacrifices people have made for you.
But one day you will realise why we take a moment out each year to remember those who served, those who sacrificed, those who were lost, those who bodies returned to never be the same. The soldiers, the nurses, the civilians, the wives, husbands, fathers, mothers, daughters and sons who have and still go before us, that we may sleep safe for another night in a country we can call home.
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."
“ANZAC” was the name given to a combined force of First Australian Imperial Force and New Zealand Army troops who landed on Turkey’s Gallipoli Peninsula at around dawn on Sunday, the 25th day of April, 1915, barely nine months after the outbreak of World War I. ~ ANZACday.org.au
The Nanit baby monitor bills itself as “the ‘Tesla’ of baby monitors.” We were a bit a dubious of this claim so we decided to give it try for 30 days. Visit FatherCraft.com/Nanit-review to see if it actually lived up to the hype. #Nanit#toolsfordads#fatherhood#dads#babytech#fathercraft
Bath time can be a fun, special time to share with your toddler. It's also a time for caution, though. The first and most important rule is this: Never, ever leave your toddler unsupervised, even for a minute. Gather all of the supplies (soap, towel, bath toys etc.) you'll need ahead of time. Then once you're completely ready, let your child climb in and splash away!
Words cannot even begin to express how much I love this kid. I’m floored I have a front row seat to who he is becoming. Today this boy turns 11 & these are some of my most favorite pictures of him! Happy Birthday Ezra! Your Daddy loves you! #fatherhood
Något som alltid har saknats i mitt liv är ett biologiskt band med en annan människa. Att jag nu för första gången får ha det känns otrolikt unikt. Och att jag får ha det med min fina son gör mig till den lyckligaste av fäder! #baby7#love#fatherhood
So today we made the decision to change milly's cot into a bed and put up a babygate on her door!
it wasn't an easy decision but after discussing it yesterday at Milly's assessment and between ourselves we thought it was the best thing to do for Milly and hopefully it will mean she dosen't wake up so much in the night by crashing into the sides as she is never still even in her sleep .
So when we put her to bed she screamed for about half and hour and then I went up for the 1st time tried and failed to settle her and then left the room not long after I left the room Milly pulled her duvet of her bed and slept on the floor with her head on the bean bag so we left her.
The second time I went up after she had tried to use the toilet I took her back into her room and put her back in her bed and read her two stories one about milly the mermaid and the other about bedtime and as i write this she is currently asleep in her bed 🎉🎉
The night is still young so I will update you on how it went tonight and how it goes tommorow on my next bedtime post! .
So keep your fingers crossed for us 🤞🤞
