I finally graduated! Now it’s time to get serious and crank out a bunch of cool stuff for you guys. Currently I’m working on a digital painting, finishing up my environments from this year, posting my digital sculptures, and preparing to shoot a wedding coming up in June. I hope you guys are as ready as I am.
I'm starting the week by revisiting my time living and working in the Great Barrier Reef many years ago, which is still a constant source of inspiration for my artwork. Pictured is a view of Lady Elliot Island, situated 80km from the coast of Bundaberg at the very Southern tip of the GBR. The only way in and out was via small aircraft, with the airstrip running the entire length of the island. During rough weather the pilots would sometimes be forced to pull up just short of the beach. You could walk around the perimeter of the island in about half an hour and I spent most of my free time snorkeling and learning to dive in the pristine reef on the east side of the island
The little bro made a book!
