Don’t these two just completely radiate in that newly-engaged glow?! I’ve known Renee for a couple years now and am so happy that she has met Q, the love of her life. I kept telling them they were such naturals in front of the camera (because they truly are) and then Renee told me she used to model years ago...no wonder! .
Think of your engagement session like a date! Especially if you’re feeling nervous about having your photo taken. It’s time spent with your fiancé and it’s ok to break a pose and just love on your love! 😉
Raise your hand if you’re planning an autumn / winter wedding? 🙋🏻♀️ I have the best memories of this beautiful day with these loves @mrsloates
I have some very limited availability towards the end of the year and 2019/20 is filling up fast! Please get in touch as soon as you have your dates booked to avoid any disappointment! ❤️ #hannahrubyphotos
I am shooting my first (very secret and sneaky!) proposal tomorrow morning up in the mountains at sunrise and I am SO excited! Any tips and tricks for making sure to capture the couples big moment perfectly, send em my way! I’m excited to show you all the end product and to capture the look on her face when she realizes she’s spending forever with her sweetheart! ✨
Working with horses is like working with toddlers. They are unpredictable, they get bored, they throw tantrums when they don’t want to do something, they are constantly moving around and are only in the spot you want them for a second. But like working with toddlers when you catch them at the right time in the right spot, it’s magical. #amberjeanphotography

The sun is shining in Chicago. It's a glorious day! Makes me long to be outside on a beach enjoying the sunshine. Instead I'll have to settle for this behind the scenes moment I captured of my sweet friend Amy. Amy has a passion for dancers and gymnasts photography and does an amazing job at creating beautiful art. Be sure to check out her instagram @amyphotochicagomovement
Even amid the sounds of coffee being ground and the shuffling feet of passersby, Lauren & Cat found a private moment to enjoy--not to mention that I'm sitting right in front of them with my camera pointed their way. That's that kind of love that connects hearts and minds--a deeper understanding and yearning for each other's truest selves, no matter what's transpiring around you. .
If you're happily in love and have found someone who can grab your hand, help you escape your chaotic surroundings to retreat to a peaceful getaway, then DM me so we can begin writing your own getaway story. I've got a few more June openings for regular couples' portrait sessions--which are perfect for engagements, anniversaries, or just because you want to. .
So tell me...what's your favorite love story?
Something I've been thinking about recently is how I have the best job in the world. When I first got started in wedding photography, every photographer or creative I met said "weddings are LAME" or "just wait until you have a bridezilla!" But every wedding I had photographed, had been a really joyful experience for me. Better yet, I had learned something about relationships, people, culture, or light. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being the stubborn 🐴 (pretend that's a donkey for this post 😜) I kept diving into the wedding photography waters and this addiction is now my job. It makes the long days, late nights, and essentially weekendless calendar worth it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I've never had a lame wedding.
I've never had a bridezilla or anything of the sort. My couples have all been gracious, kind, patient and have opened their stories to me so I can tell it to the next generation. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today on the @thebeardedtog podcast, I've opened up to your questions via DM and our The Bearded Tog Facebook group. Diving into things like:
"Adam what's your favorite lens?"
"What is your image workflow?"
"Should I file as an LLC or Sole-proprietorship? Do I even need to pay taxes?"
"When can I shoot with you?"
"How do I get my name out there?" and more!

We happened upon this blooming tree while walking around downtown and I knew we had to pause here for a photo. It was on the side of a parking lot. Sometimes I worry my clients might think I’m crazy when I suggest spots like this, but Rachel and Joseph were totally game for all my ideas. They didn’t hesitate for a second when we stopped at this spot. I am so thankful for clients that trust what I’m seeing in my mind. This shot turned out to be one of my favorites from the whole shoot! #elizabethgelineauphotography
Guess whose wedding is right around the corner? We had a final run through the other day and I found out they will have a PlayStation spot at their wedding! Seriously DA BOMB!! What is the best thing you have seen at a wedding? I want to know!!
