The connection I have with myself. Nature. Art. This connection runs within all of us. I want to give this connection to more souls, more beings. To spread unconditional love to all that surrounds. My kindred heart is yelling out to all that I want to show everyone compassion, make more connections with others. Authentic. Something I’ve learned while down in the south, surprisingly, is just that. No matter where you are in this life you are still your soul and if you put good into this beautiful, authentic universe it’ll bring that right back. 😌
“I am the oldest in my family and only woman besides my mom. I am the first to do a lot of the things. Such as graduating high school, graduating community college, and soon to be college graduate of undergrad. Being the oldest and only girl from an immigrant family has been a huge mold for discovering the type of leader and person I am. Nothing happens solely by individual efforts, it takes a community of people to get things done. Coming to OSU wasn’t easy and was really hard finding community. I often questioned if I made the right choice coming here-but eventually started to do things way past my level of comfort and started to create and build community and met other people along the way. I found that I have a hunger to crunch the thirst of injustice and operate from a place of love for others because I know a better future is possible.
People who are the first to go into uncharted territories are really brave and so strong. I think a lot about what my parents and grandparents and what they have gone through for me to be here. I think about juggling multiple jobs and the late nights I pulled to learn about the wide varieties of issues that effect us all and goes around us. I am coming to terms that I am someone who is fuerte, smart, preserving, hardworking, and most importantly enough I don’t need to prove myself to anyone!”
✨Me and you ✨
I will walk beside you even through your deadly lanes,
I will walk on to the fire to bring you flowers from the farthest plains,
And in your scariest dreams I would hold you in my arms until the sunshine falls on our hearts,
And in your happiest dreams I would dance with you crazily until you wake up
And in your perfect white dress when the snow would kiss the earth,
You will float down the aisle like a queen
And I would make you forever mine.
In the rains I will be your raincoat,
In the winters a maroon scarf,
In the summers , a tattoo on your back
And in the spring an alley of red roses .
Hurdles , darkness , all the cold days ,
When the life would seem tough and smites you in the front ,
I would kiss you under the streetlight's glow,
And even if I shed a tear remember that I love you even more .
In your silliest days I would click selfies making poses with you ,
In your snappy days I would shower petals on you ,
When you will get sick
My chest will be your pillow
And I will be all awake just in case you need something .
The time when the air will be all heated up ,
All the pieces would fall into the right place
Heart beats running away ,
Warm bloods we both,
Melting the ice , burning the room,
Forgetting about the crowd and just me and you
Dancing slowly under the limelight with embers all around
Looking into each other's eyes there ain't no bounds.
Everyday with you will be a new journey,
Drama me , then crazy you
Happy me , then smile is you
Cloud me , then rain is you
Patient me , then doctor you
And I would keep my vows always
I will be there with you for you
Until I would fall into my grave. .
