Hands down the best part of @coachella was being able to have my friends👭 from two different worlds🌍 meet and get along! @cinee__ @ellafornia_ & @iamdafina_ have been my friends for 7+ years and they know me probably better then anyone, Cinee and I use to rave all the time and to be 100% honest she’s the reason I am the person I am today in the edm scene❤️! It was also really dope having @ellafornia_ & @iamdafina_ down for techno🎶 and all the after parties💃🏼🎉! But huge shoutout to @lusciousblake for being down for everything, thank you for being so kind enjoying all my friends💖 and basically getting us a place to stay, you really made my #coachella experience the best I have ever had! I stood in line every weekend just to get my wristband. Two actually, 1 to get in, & 1 for the bar. I didn’t ever take much time to pick out an outfit as the night ahead was the only thing on my mind. Hours would pass & when the sun came up, we would find where we parked, drive home, eat & sleep & wait until the next weekend.
I may not seem like a club kid but there was a short time I loved the clubs of NYC. Even before that, I would walk down a set of wooden stairs into a dingy basement on frat row, & that’s where my love of ‘techno’ began, & continued during summers down the Jersey shore. Fast forward to 2013. If you’ve heard my story, you know my first step toward my fitness journey was when I made a playlist & called it ‘GYM.’ (story for another time). Soon after, Sept 18th, 2013, I learned how to effectively use the gym. Also in 2013, Avicii released 🎶 Levels. For the following 4 yrs, ‘edm’ played a huge daily role toward achieving goals in my fitness competing, & also in finding my purpose & passion. Avicii was my favorite, his transitions & layering took talent. Sometimes you don’t even realize what it is that’s inspiring you. It’s the small things that matter most. He will be missed.
