The royal wedding is over but I’m still having tea and scones for breakfast! 😋 
When my mom told me she found the most delicious vegan scones at the @wholefoods bakery I was a little doubtful because usually grocery store baked goods are pretty meh. 
However, I WAS SO WRONG! 
This massive scone is the vegan blueberry lemon variety and while it was delicious, the vegan walnut date scone (only $2.25!) stole the show! Super crispy edges + a buttery inside + big chunks of walnuts throughout 🤤 it was so dang good! AND they’re are still delicious the next day! Pop it into the toaster oven for 3 minutes and then take it out and let it sit for 1 minute (when the air hits it it gets even crispier edges!) It’s really hard because it smells amazing but do it because it’s sooo worth it! It tastes just as fresh as the first day! Have you tried the vegan scones at #wholefoodsmarket? What did you think?

Strategy 1: Stretch to relieve the tightness. Muscles in our body are all connected, and when one group is affected, it is only a matter of time the others would be too.

Strategy 2: Eat more greens! Natural and whole plant based diets have high level of antioxidants and phytonutrients which helps body reduce oxidative stress and inflammations. It is better than any artificial supplement. Extracted and isolated antioxidants such as Vit C, Vit E etc, is unable to achieve the positive effects from the complex combinations of phytonutrients working synergistally inside whole plant foods. Incorporating self-care into your life involves ANY practice that ALIGNS your mind, body & spirit. Your individual practice will bring on a cascade of positivity, and it’s necessary for your overall wellbeing. 
While practicing yoga yesterday, the word dedication came to mind as it relates to our lives and self-care practices.  Before we can truly be of service to others and show up as our best, most authentic selves, we must first be dedicated to taking care of our own needs. You’ve got to fill your cup up, so that it overflows into the lives of others or as the cliche saying goes, put on your oxygen mask before assisting others. 
But are we choosing to dedicate our time into habits and behavior that leave us tired, anxious, and more empty?  I’d like you to begin thinking of self-care as a loving dedication instead of a responsibility or another item on your to-do list.  It doesn’t have to be complicated or involve loads of time. Self-care can be as simple as a daily gratitude practice, taking mindful breaks throughout the day to breath deeply and check in with your body, cutting down on screen time to make time for you and your loved ones, jamming to your favorite tunes/mantras throughout the day to realign and lift you up, spending time outdoors for fresh air, sunshine and grass between your toes, or getting in your daily green veggies. Or if you want to take it up a notch and go full on stereotypical self-care Sunday - give yourself an at home spa day!
From a nutritional standpoint, self-care is directly linked to how we choose to fuel our beautiful bodies.  You don’t have to have a wealth of health knowledge to start listening to your body as it relates to food. Today and throughout the week, I task you with the opportunity to be more mindful at mealtime.  Do certain foods drain your energy, give you a headache, make you feel bloated, or leave you hungry for more? By bringing more awareness, self-compassion/LOVE and self-care into your daily lives, you will be better equipped to say yes to what truly fuels you, lights you up and helps you bring more dedication to your everyday life. I hope you all have a beautiful Sunday filled with loads of self-care!🙏💞

I’m pretty proud of this vegan smoothie bowl this morning. The base is raspberries and blueberries blended with hemp seeds, flax seeds, baby spinach, a banana, vegan protein powder, and cashew milk. Hoy una nueva receta de salsa saludable fitness. El tzatziki (en griego se denomina “τζατζίκι”; también se puede encontrar transcripto como jajiki; en turco, #cacık) es una salsa característica de las cocinas griega y turca, muy empleada en los #meze.

Ingredientes

1 yogur natural agrio, puede ser griego o el que tengamos, para veganos yogur de soja sin azúcar claro ... 1 diente ajo pequeño 
1 cucharadita de vinagre

1 pepino

hojas menta o de hierbabuena o perejil 
1 cucharadita #aceitedeolivaextravirgen

Una pizca de sal y pimienta

Se ralla el pepino pelado y se escurre 
Se pica el ajo y las hojas que hayamos escogido 
Se mezcla
Se añade el #yogur y se mezcla 
Se añade el resto de ingredientes... rico rico todo mezclado y a dipear SANO sanito de verdad ... Se puede servir inmediatamente, pero el Tzatziki  está mejor reposado un par de horas en la nevera, para que esté más frío y un poco más denso.
Degustación
Podemos acompañar esta receta de tzatziki griego con todo tipo de cosas para mojar: palitos de zanahoria, de pepino, endibias... y por supuesto también pan naan, dürum o tortillas de #fajitas.

Hoy una nueva receta de salsa saludable fitness. El tzatziki (en griego se denomina “τζατζίκι”; también se puede encontrar transcripto como jajiki; en turco, #cacık ) es una salsa característica de las cocinas griega y turca, muy empleada en los #meze . Ingredientes 1 yogur natural agrio, puede ser griego o el que tengamos, para veganos yogur de soja sin azúcar claro ... 1 diente ajo pequeño 1 cucharadita de vinagre 1 pepino hojas menta o de hierbabuena o perejil 1 cucharadita #aceitedeolivaextravirgen  Una pizca de sal y pimienta Se ralla el pepino pelado y se escurre Se pica el ajo y las hojas que hayamos escogido Se mezcla Se añade el #yogur  y se mezcla Se añade el resto de ingredientes... rico rico todo mezclado y a dipear SANO sanito de verdad ... Se puede servir inmediatamente, pero el Tzatziki está mejor reposado un par de horas en la nevera, para que esté más frío y un poco más denso. This is what I'm dreaming of right now. A simple salad I made a few days back- my favorite kind of meal. 
What's in my bowl:
Arugula, baby 🍅, Moroccan and green olives ❤, sundried toms, artichoke hearts, mozzarella balls

Served this with egg and tuna in olive oil. So filling and delish!

Don't get me wrong, pizza 🍕 and pasta 🍝while in Italy are a must, but nothing quite satisfies me like some veg with olives! Fat! My favorite!
