Day number three of this soup. I made a double batch in my Instant Pot the other night and I regret nothing. 🌶️🥣🍞 (I'll snap a pic of my recipe and stick it in my Instastories in case you want to jot it down. You DO.)
As promised, here is the chicken n rice I make in the instant pot. This is one of the most delicious and easiest recipes you guys. You literally put everything in at once and push a button, it’s that easy! And it’s family approved👍🏻 Ingredients: *1-2 pounds of chicken breasts
*3 1/2 cups of chicken broth (just make sure you have enough to cover your rice) *1-2 cups of uncooked brown rice (I put more or less depending on how much chicken I have) *2 tbs of butter or olive oil
*2 tbs of soy sauce (I use liquid aminos as it’s less salty) *salt and pepper to taste
*optional- frozen veggies- 1 cup , either broccoli, peas and carrots or mushrooms
Take your ingredients and put them in the instant pot. The chicken will be uncooked and if you choose to add veggies, they will be frozen. Now if you don’t want your veggies mushy, add them once the rest is cooked. Just put on sauté or keep warm setting and cook until you reach desired texture. (Just a quick tip- As I am getting my ingredients ready, I put the chicken broth in the pot and push “saute” and that helps heat things up so the time to come to pressure is less.) Cook on manual high pressure for 25 minutes and then let it naturally release.
This is a favorite in our home and is a great quick and ready to eat dinner, all in one pot. Enjoy❤️ #easymeals#busymomma#healthylifestyle#tripletmom#mustmake#instantpotforthewin

Pretty sure is Sunday morning in Australia so a breakfast pic is ok 🙃Actually that's always ok haha
Today I had oats for lunch and I'm not mad ☺️ been loving savory breakfasts lately. Also, been trying to eat more healthy fats and less carbs. I'm just doing what my body tells me to do and that's what I've missed for the last two years 😕 I used to think listening to my body was a sign of weakness. If I felt shaky or tired during a workout, I would push myself to the point I wanted to throw up :/ If I wanted to have something not healthy or even healthy but high in fat, I wouldn't have touched it.
I'm learning a lot and I'm happy with my progress 💜 have a lovely day 🌱✨
Potatoes au gratin, asparagus, @quornsa cranberry goat cheese chik'n.
It is soooo difficult for me to find that product, a store will get it then drop it a year later but I found it at Lucky's, hoping they hold on to it because it's been a favorite of mine since I tried it 8 years ago.
Weekend breakfasts are my fave. It’s when the hubby whips up something delicious like this rolled French toast with strawberries and Nutella! (His is with bacon and eggs.)
I plan to just relax today and soak up the calm before a busy week ahead. 📷👩🏻💻
What are your plans this weekend?
This week’s meal plans are on the blog! There’s a whole lot of veg in there to balance out my current levels of cake consumption 😳 link in profile ✨ http://thehealthyhunterblog.com/2018/04/22/meal-plans-week-63/
Breakfast for dinner! Nothing but easy meals over here while in temporary housing with limited resources. Two more weeks until we’re in our new home! For now, All Recipes’ Good Old Fashioned Pancakes (with blueberries added😋) really hit the spot. This is a very simple recipe that only required me to pick up some baking powder to add to the basics in my cupboard. Doesn’t beat my Martha Stewart favorite, but easy when you haven’t even purchased vanilla yet! I was also happy to use my unopened, Canadian maple syrup that I purchased in London, just to bring back to NY. Almost full circle? #dinner
Happy Saturday! 💙 How cute is @childhoodsquares’s sweet babe?! Grabease’s utensils are perfect for little hands! 🍴 Grabease are designed to give toddlers the opportunity to eat independently with a proportional tool for their natural hand grasp and motion with a choke protection shield. @grabease
Tried #glutafin fibre fussilli tonight with my spag bol, have tried Juvellas fibre fussilli before and liked it, I would need to eat them side to tell a difference to be honest! Both tasty, perhaps this one not quite as much but I did over cook it and maybe didn't add enough salt to the pasta 🤷 8/10 👍
Happy Saturday! Who else loves spring?🌺
I just came from plant shopping at Lowes, I love seeing all the colors, shapes, plants! I’m seriously considering becoming a plant lady instead of a cat lady just in case I never find my second half😜
Besides flowers and plants, fresh salad season! And a juicy baked chicken.
Preheat the oven at 350F and marinate the chicken w/ lime juice, @heatandflavor and @thenewprimal in a bag. Cook for 25min with all the juice. With fresh veggies, salsa, @eatpilinuts.

Don’t have the energy to prepare resort-style breakfasts in the morning? End up having toast and vegemite and then needing a double shot just to keep you from needing a lie down?
There is nothing in the nutrition rule books that you have to eat something different every day. So find a meal for brekky that has a palm sized serving of protein (like eggs or yoghurt), a thumb sized (or more if you're reducing your carb intake) serving of fat (like olive oil, nuts or avocado), at least a cup of phyto nutrients (like sweet potato, berries or greens) and eat it many times in one week. Something you know for sure is going to set you up well for the rest of the day.
For me, at the moment I am choosing between a milky type of smoothie (usually with yoghurt, some sort of veg, seeds and whey protein) or a chia pudding with yoghurt and fruit. That's it.
PS. Heading to my very first Business Mastermind this morning! Eeeek! Am extremely excited to experience all that @kellyannelive has to offer. And equally excited to be making decisions about what Morosini Nutrition will be delivering over the next 12 months!
Celebrating Mama Earth this beautiful #earthday with a bowl of Mama's finest ☀️🌱🌎 DID YOU KNOW that, according to the @unitednations, animal farming is a leading cause of the most serious environmental problems: climate change, air pollution, land degradation, water shortage, water pollution, and loss of biodiversity. Research from Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) shows that reducing global meat and dairy consumption is required if we are to keep global warming below two degrees Celsius-- considered the threshold at which we'll be facing catastrophic impacts to our world. In short, eating low on the food chain is one of the most powerful ways each of us can make a positive difference in our daily lives for our beautiful planet💥My giant salad today included leaf lettuce, red cabbage, Dijon vinaigrette, tomatoes, avo, almond feta, spring onion, sesame and hemp seeds, dates, S&P and I held it up against a plant for extra earthiness #mamaearth#savetheplanet
🥑5-Ingredient Avocado Caesar Wrap🥑 Which includes: Avocado, bibb or other lettuce, vegan Caesar dressing, canned garbanzo beans, and your tortilla of choice! Optional: chopped cherry tomatoes, shredded carrot or chopped apple. The wraps pictured were purchased on a whim, but we normally prefer Ezekiel sprouted wraps, (which can be found at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.) *
1️⃣ In a bowl, mix together chopped lettuce and a drizzle of dressing. Set aside.
2️⃣ Drain and rinse garbanzo beans.
3️⃣ Pile dressed lettuce, beans, chopped avocado, and any other toppings in the center of your tortilla or wrap.
4️⃣ Season with salt and pepper (if you wanna), roll it up and chomp away! Yum!
Hello people ❤️How are you? I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Yesterday I had this delicious smoothie bowl for lunch. It's getting warmer and warmer here in Spain so I'm starting to crave smoothies😄🌞. To make this smoothie bowl I blended 4 frozen bananas 🍌 and some blueberries. Then I topped it with more blueberries, shredded coconut, sliced almonds, raspberries, pumpkin seeds, some chia seeds and almond butter.
Easy breezy creamy fettuccine. Literally took me 15 minutes to make this. For the sauce I used 3 dollops mascarpone, 1 clove garlic, dollop of butter, spinach, mushrooms, parsley, 1/2 chicken stuck cube and leftover grilled chicken. Add some Parmesan if you have it. Season with a bit of paprika, salt and pepper et voila! Serve with your favourite pasta. 😁 #studentfoodie#EZ
