I visited @wasabisushibardublin
It was packed! Thankfully I booked a table.
I know sushi.. I know good sushi.. it wasn’t awful, it was good value and I probably ordered the wrong rolls!
I was a little confused with the menu initially. But I worked it out.
We had some finger snacks before the sushi: 4 pieces of Coxinhas and some fries.. I think it should have been cooked for a little longer. The batter was slightly doughy 😔
There were numerous sushi combo options that looked great passing us by. But in the end I was so confused I ordered a similar HOT roll (Not HOT as in spicy but Deep Fried in breadcrumbs) to the combo we chose. Only this one had fresh salmon ontop of it.
The rolls were grand BUT I’m not a cream cheese lover in sushi! Unfortunately , every roll we order had cream cheese... I had to scrape it off from under the raw salmon. I was only tasting cream cheese for the most part of it! So that was disappointing. Maybe if they used a tart mayo like @kewpieusa or even my favourite @heinzirelandofficial Salad cream it would have tasted so much better. Anyways I remembered @omar_eats_dublin telling me the salmon is good. So we ordered plain as heck Salmon nigiri.. .
