I gave the elite wave in @spartanraceireland a go today finishing in 46th overall which was grand I think 🤔... Great race with alot of competitors from the US & Canada turning up to compete. Enjoy my technical runners warm up. On a day like today when you don't know the course or the quality of field it sometimes better to take a relaxed warm up and a relaxed start to the race. I decided to start the elite race today in the very back of the pack and just moved up the field slowly all race. When he started with me 7 weeks ago he was squatting 40kg,now we here....105kg for 4 baby 💪💪💪 Our goal was actually 100kg which he comfortably squat for 4 (first video) so we pushed for 105 (second video) as I knew he'd a bit more left in the tank and all without sacrificing form or depth 😏 Did I also mention he's also down 7.2kg (almost 16 lbs) in that time and not to mention improved sleep patterns,improved confidence and stress relief as his occupation is pretty stressful but even after a bad day he comes in and gets it done and the results speak for themselves 😁 all without strict dieting,just better food choices,less crap and 4 sessions a week with me where I push him beyond his limits in every single session!! Don't over complicate things and overload clients with too much too soon,stick to the basics and make it something they can adhere to for life and not just for "X" number of weeks 😉

Marathon training starts today! We ran for 35 minutes in blocks of 3 minutes with a minute of walking in between to rest. As someone who has never really ran before (apart from when I’m late for the bus!) I was slightly terrified going in! But it wasn’t nearly as hard I imagined! Running in shorts spurts with walking breaks of 1 minute made it much more doable! And having some lovely new vegan friends to run and chat with through the stunning Hawthorn filled fields of Phoenix Park made it, dare I say, enjoyable! When you’re playing upside down .... it takes twice the strength! Today I spent a lot of time falling over.
I also spent a little bit longer up in the air. Practice and patience. I am putting trust in the process of learning a new skill.
Really starting to notice the difference in my body based on my quality of sleep (along with the obvious differences in energy, mood and general brain function 😂) Determined to get my sleep back on track. Last year my health obsession was gut health, now it’s on to sleep... 💤

Made myself some gluten&sugar free protein French toast👌😍 I'm on a sugar detox at the moment to get my nutrition and mind properly back on track. The only sugar I eat is from some fruit, i.e. mainly berries as they are some of the lowest sugar fruits🍓🍓🍓 And honestly, all the vitamins & antioxidants in them more than outweigh the bit of sugar they contain in my opinion😄 #onmywaytobalance
