We love @keven_123_4 and the @norticotj bar. We will use ANY excuse to go see him in #tijuana - this delicious cocktail uses Tequila / Pamplemousse / Vermouth bianco / Oleo saccharum / Citric acid / Mint / peach bitters / CO2 charge - who wants to go with us next time to see him? MUSIC 🎼 and special out takes at the very end of the video.
Enjoying our new #CocktailOfTheWeek , the Jungle Bird 23 very much - it's made from @ronzacapa 23, @captainmorganusa, @campariofficial and freshly squeezed pineapple and lime juice. A little sweet, a little strong, but balanced and interesting because of the bitterness from the Campari. Easy to prepare - and best served in large portions.
Available this week only - message or check the FB page or tomokacocktails.com for more info.
@monkishbrewing Taking it back to the original can release edit. I’m having it right now on Tap again tasting great. THANKS Henry 4 Brewing Up this Jooose Again
Water Balloon Fighters
Hops: Mosaic, Simcoe & Citra
Appears hazy yellow-orange in the light. 2 fingers or more of off white solid frothy head. Average to above average head retention. Medium tight bubbles form. Moderate lacing as it swirls circular.
Aromas of gorgeous pungent tropical and citrus hops scream out of the glass. A nice combo of orange peach pineapple juice sorbet up front. Sweet tropical dank in the back. Medium sweetness but still very round and balanced
Tastes up front of light bitter green hop matter that quickly turns into an equally light sweetness. Big naval oranges. Pineapple strained chunks. Clementine tangerines. Peach skin. Juice orange slices and bitter pith. Sweet banana bready malts and yeast come toward the center. Hop bitterness comes around again at the end.
Body is heavy. Soft carbonation and pillowy malts. Chewy. Gritty. Sort of Sticky. Light hop bitterness is pleasant. No alcohol. Sorbet like consistency. It’s like chewing on sweet Hawaiian bread. Little hop bite remains on finish rounds out the bitterness
Overall another great offering that has stayed the same through the time since last. Single hopped version of its double older brother DDH water ballon fight club. I can definitely tell them apart. Zero booze as to what is expected from monkish. Consistently delivers on a regular basis. I can’t see anything that has changed since I had it last year 7-14-17. Great brew. Classic Monkish!
Long day at work? This delicious drink was the best way to end my day.
Berries and @rhumcharretteofficiel with a kick of maraschino liqueur and hints of basil. Topped with a light powder of freeze dried raspberries. #foodfromreunion
Though tequila and mezcal are both made from the agave plant, mezcal is made from the plants heart, known as the piñas, which are roasted in a wood-fire pits. The roasting gives mezcal is signature smoky flavor. The agave hearts are crushed and the remaining juice is fermented and distilled. While tequila is made from the blue agave plant, there are over forty agave species used to make mezcal. The most widely used for mezcal is agave espadin. Like a fine scotch, high end mezcal should be enjoyed neat or on the rocks. Here I’ve used Del Maguey Mezcal for a spirit forward summertime cocktail. Enjoy xo

Santa Teresa 1796 Solera!
Product of Venezuela, made from a solera blend of rums aged 4 to 35 years then finished for an extra year in French oak casks.
On the nose I'm getting caramel, butterscotch vanilla and cherrie.
First sip- not too different from the nose. Lots of vanilla and molasses popping out. Subtle hints of almond and oak. Fairly smooth with a nice long lasting burn on the finish. Doesn't list this in the flavor profile but I'm tasting cherrie on the exhale.
I could see me keeping a bottle of this on deck at all times. Very good quality rum and not crazy expensive.
Na Zdrowie!! 🥃🥃✌
