Fresh breath foods! 😀
There can be many causes of bad breath, including dehydration, having food particles stuck or caught in your teeth (which get attacked by bacteria that generate odor), and of course, poor dental hygiene.
☕️ Eating particularly smelly foods, like garlic, onions, fish, or coffee can also cause bad breath just after eating.
😁 But fortunately, there are foods and habits that can help counter unpleasant breath.
Here are 5 breath freshening Foods that also yield bonus health benefits!
🍏 APPLES, especially mouth-watering tart ones like green Granny Smiths. When those juices flow, food particles get washed away. The enzymes in apples also help reduce odor. Bonus: apples provide fiber and antioxidants, and help regulate blood sugar.
🍊RED BELL PEPPERS & CITRUS FRUIT. Both are high in vitamin C, which creates an environment that reduces the growth of bacteria. Vitamin C also contributes to healthy gums. Bonus: vitamin C supports immunity and skin health.
🥄 YOGURT (even non-dairy). Research shows that eating yogurt with live active cultures can curb the amount of bacteria in the mouth. It also helps reduce plaque and gum disease. The yogurt can be dairy or plant-based, as long as it contains live active cultures. Bonus: those live cultures help support immunity and gut health.
🌿 FRESH HERBS. Instead of gum, chew on a sprig of fresh mint or parsley. Bonus: in addition to freshening breath, herbs are loaded with antioxidants, and contain no sugar, artificial sweeteners, or sugar alcohols.
💧 H2O. Get into a habit of drinking a glass of water after meals and snacks. This can help wash away food particles that contribute to bad breath. Bonus: staying well hydrated is another preventative factor for bad breath, and healthy hydration helps support mood, energy, and circulation.
😘 P.S. If you’re a garlic lover, take note. Raw apples, lettuce, and chewing on fresh mint have been shown in research to help deodorize the mouth and reduce the volatile compounds in garlic responsible for stinky breath.

My poor girl went to urgent care for a UTI and was started on the path to Wellness. She works two jobs and takes some college classes so I called @az_iv_medics and Johny came over and gave her some fluids and vitamins to give her a boost. I highly recommend them. #drinkmorewater
Your Body is 90% water and needs water for almost every function! Drinking more water can decrease aches and pains while increasing energy levels! This one is especially important when the weather gets hot!
I try to drink at least 64 oz every day . Some tips to increase water intake 💧💦💧💦💧💦💧💦💧💦💧
• Eat fruits and vegetables with high water content such as cucumbers 🥒 and watermelon 🍉 .
• Add Cucumber , lemon, mint, or berries to give your water some flava 😋 • Try to carry a bottle the tells you how much water you consume in one serving . I personally prefer A 24 or 32 oz bottle, because it means less refilling 😎😂
•Try drinking your tea with no honey or sugar ( no sweetener at all ).... major key 🔑
When I encourage friends and family to hydrate more, one of the objections I often hear is that the individual 'already pees too much!'. While the frequency of urination will increase when the change is made, it will only be temporary. Drinking more water alleviates many common health problems before they occur. How many glasses do you dink every day? Do you keep track?
We are giving away a @hydroflask and one of our soft fitting Fontis tees. Winner will be announced on Friday. You must live in the Atlanta area to win.

Remember to stay properly hydrated, especially when the weathers like this. Why is it so difficult to drink a minimum of 2.2L of water a day?! Someone could hand me a 2.2L Jägerbomb and say "drink up fannyballs" and it'd be gone in about 2.2 feckin minutes.
Using food as a reward has strong connections with developing emotional eating. 😬😬😬
We've all gone for that chocolate, pizza, or cake to "make us feel better " if we are hurt or going through emotional hardship or sadness. ✨
Somewhere between the ages of 4-6, we were given a sweet snack or biscuit to do just that. Overtime this behaviour sets us up for emotional eating as adults. So when we hit the blues, our brains revert back to that connection we made as kids. Its very deep in our subconscious and takes a great deal of effort and practice to overcome. ✨
Eating patterns and our relationship to food have been established a long time ago. If you see this happening to you try to use non- food options such as going to the movies or calling a friend , even walking your dog to make yourself feel better. ✨
Try to see the patterns that emerge so you can make the changes required. The most important lesson for all of us is learning to manage our appetite - EAT WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY AND STOP WHEN YOU ARE FULL. - it may seem obvious but it's the most common reason sighted for the increase of Obesity.....🙏🏻💙
Have a wonderful day and remember small positive steps daily......😘😘 #inuovibodystudio#weightlossjourney#healthyhabits#healthylife#eatmoreveggies#drinkmorewater#loveyourself#staystrong#dontgiveup#bodytransformation
