Top left frame is me directing and composing Craig Ostrouchow, Fraz Awan and Pagan Hollis for the trainline search scene The rest of the frames are from the scene itself, involving Abigail (Pagan Hollis) and Dr Neville (Fraz Awan) searching for William (Thomas Keetley) however they soon come across a cheerful and friendly young man called Mitch Regan (Craig Ostrouchow) who Neville seems to distrust.
To make matters worse Neville discovers something at the railway line nearby which sends shudders down him and Rebecca R920029 support app (Emma Bourke) begins to malfunction. To add to the problems Abigail goes missing. Neville and Mitch go looking for her and are attacked by a horde - We begin to discover something truly questionable about Neville and Mitch - One or both of them are not what they seemed to be originally. It's great fun directing Fraz, Craig and Pagan. All of them have supported the production and give fantastic performances.
Watch out for them in the coming Spring 2018 preview.... fb.com/codename.vasquez
We love #FrankCapra#films , so we rented Lost Horizon from #1937 . Even the best directors have missteps and part of the problem with this #movie is that it shows it’s age. It suffers from a serious white savior complex, along with some of the baffling misogyny prevalent in older #movies . These issues cloud the good natured message that Capra was intending. The #film is about a British man named Robert Conway that helps some colonials escape from a Chinese uprising. Their pilot is overtaken and they are flown over Tibet. The plane crashes, but the group is saved by people from the mythical city of Shangri-La. It’s a land of peace and prosperity where no one fights or gets sick and people live incredibly long lives. The head Lama is a white Christian priest and he wants Conway to be his replacement. You see, Conway was intentionally brought here. This leads to awkward questions from me, such as, if they are a peaceful group, why did they kill the original pilot? This is never discussed on screen. It’s also disturbing that only a white Christian can create a peaceful society. This whitewashing of Shangri-La is frustrating. The misogyny comes in when discussing men sharing women without even considering what the women would want. Parts of this film have been lost to time, but the soundtrack remains. For the missing parts, they play the audio and show still pictures of the actors. The thing is, the movie is overly long and could’ve used some extra editing. Thirty or forty minutes could be cut and certain character motivations don’t seem to make sense. Conrad’s brother George never gets comfortable in Shangri-La, and that’s fine, but he acts hysterical. The woman he meets there lies to both of them, we’re never told why, and it’s a fatal decision on her part. For how long and drawn out it is, the final ten minutes cram a whole movie’s worth of action (it’s only narrated and not shown). Everything about the movie was strange and downright boring. I like the message of being more peaceful to fellow human beings, but it’s overshadowed by ignorance that excludes other races and cultures and assumes superiority over them. ⭐️⭐️
Film diretto da D.R. Mitchell, USA, 2014.
All Is Lost (Até o Fim), 2014- J.C. Chandor.

This lady is strange. Look how beautiful! Guess where she lives? In a little Söcker greenhouse from IKEA with plastic bags taped over the windows, on the floor in front of a southern facing window covered in wax paper (check my story) - extremely filtered light and high humidity is what this baby likes. To y’all plant mamas who have beautiful pileas just hanging out in your living rooms - Magic!
