The weather has been kind of ridiculous around here and it’s got me feeling blah! Ana Maria has been sick and is home from school, and Jordan Grace has been like the energizer bunny!! This sweet girl asked for a hug in the middle of lunch and then wanted someone to take a picture. It was the cutest. We never turn her hugs down. She’s super generous with them and we love that about her! 🤗
Come join the planning committee for IVDSA's newest program, Next Steps set to launch in May!!! This is the love they share. Ana María makes dinner on Wednesdays, she was setting the table, practicing her choir songs (she has a performance coming up) and consoling her sister because she hurt her chin. These are my girls friends! These are the moment that fill my heart with so much love each day! 🤗

Seeing all the gorgeous HOT temperatures all over my gorgeous Arizona 🌵 makes me so jealous! Meanwhile, guess what’s still happening around here in Canadaland! You guessed it ⛄️ And she’s not happy “No way, Mommy” 🤗
We forgot her coat at an ice cream stop on our way home from our trip to the mountains. I asked for help on Facebook and within an hour it had been found. Jordan Grace has been reunited with her coat and she couldn’t be a happier bear 🐻 Thank you to everyone who made this reunion possible!!
This is the #321blessedmom Brunch team!!! These amazing ladies are my dear friends! I couldn’t feel more blessed to be hosting this wonderful event along with them 💕Thank you to those who have RSVP’ed, it will be an event to remember! This we promise you!
I went to pick her up at school and she was sitting “applesauce” like she calls it the whole time. Usually she runs to me as soon as she sees me. So this is our conversation. *
Me: “Jordan Grace I’m so proud of you”
JG “I’m proud of you mommy!” Me: “you know why?”
JG: “why mommy”
Did I think I’d be having conversations with her like this when I was pregnant? Nope! I’m blown away by her intelligence every single day! I’m totally stopped by the way before I get all those fun messages about driving and videotaping 😂
Sooo. The gorgeous ladies over @dearmomconference inspired me to host a sweet (close to) Mother’s day Brunch here in #yeg 💕 with their blessing, I have created the #321blessedmom Brunch event that will take place on May 6th. Tickets to this not to be missed event go on sale tomorrow! Tell your friends! I cannot wait to see all my beautiful T21 mamas come together. It will be the event of the year! 💕
Thank you for letting us share our story with you on this Easter Sunday! Come on over to @mommytor_az and follow our journey. Or if you know someone who is pregnant with a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome send them our way! Just want you to know mamas, you are doing an amazing job! 💕
Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would become an advocate. My dreams always led me to write, I’m passionate about my writing. I always have been. When Ana María came along I wrote a cute children’s book about my favorite city Tucson, Arizona. A place which still feels like home to me. I didn’t publish it because well guess what? Self doubt. But then Jordan Grace came along and the drive was stronger for both of my girls. I wanted Ana María to know that her sister would have the same opportunities and possibilities as her. That life would be good for them both. And so I began to to speak up, to shout my girls’ worth. And to show the world that with love, respect, inclusion, anything is possible. Writing my second children’s book “A Princess Wish” came naturally and that one, I published! I’m on to my third book “Unexpected Grace” which has been my therapy, I’m taking my time with this one because I have a lot to say and a lot to work through. I share our story with the world for many reasons. But I absolutely love getting message from mamas all over the world in many different languages. I wish I could share these incredible messages. They are a gift! I’m proud to change hearts of those who have chosen to keep their sweet babies, those who have chosen to adopt babies with Down syndrome, and those who have told me we give them hope for the future. My heart is full each time I read these amazing messages. I will continue to #advocatelikeamother 💪🏻
Hi friends! I’m working on a @changingthefaceofbeauty headshot clinic this summer and would love to invite all my Arizona friends with precious ones living the beauty of Down syndrome!! Please share and send anyone interested my way! Space is limited and fun is guaranteed! 😘 DM for details! ❤️
last time folks promise. After this count the figures are now impossible to track as its been shared by so many... but what an unbelievable response to the vid. it has been lovely to get a wee 5 mins of fame but really really what the most amazing thing about this is that in just 1 week the world saw down syndrome in a new light. In the video or not this has been a monumental achievement for us all. Not only that, but a parliamentary debate was sparked and kids all over the world learned a bit of Makaton. Jukes very own school had an open chat about what down syndrome is. That is what this was all about. So once again thank you for helping us get that message put out there. Im hanging up my twitter shoes for a moment and just looking back at un unforgettable week topped off with a fab celebration for Julia. Top week. back to the grind tomoz 🙄
