Being open to opportunity is great and all, but seriously, what’s stopping you from creating it? Discouraged because you don’t know the right people? Reach out to them! Linkedin, Instagram, email, or in person, you’d be surprised how helpful people want to be! Reverse the situation... if someone came to you saying that you’ve inspired them and they look up to you and follow it with a question or a favor, you’re going to want to help them achieve whatever they’re going after! And don’t be afraid to reach out to past connections that can put you in touch with the right people. Network is just one example of this though, get out of your way and go after what you want!
Another gorgeous day for canvassing. Just twelve days left until the primary! The @renslow4rep #DreamTeam was hitting the streets in Gary’s 1st District today. Political signs are more than symbols. They represent the candidate they’re branding, but when you choose to buy local and support a union shop, as I have, you choose to support a small business. The @renslow4rep #DreamTeam policy is to only put signs in confirmed voters’ yards, businesses that support #JessicaRenslow , homes that we have done decorative board ups at and corridors where we have conducted community cleanups. Sign up for a #Renslow4Rep sign and/or to donate a sign by going to renslow4rep.blogspot.com.
The big WHY! It’s such a bunch of bull shit! •
I’m so over all these coaches and trainers and mentor saying “Discover your Big WHY!” Haha
I look at this little girl and PURPOSE runs through my veins. It naturally goes to a space of #DoTheWork
I think that’s why I enjoy @garrettjwhite so much! STOP 🛑 FUCKING talking about shit and START doing shit! 💥 •
#TheWORK Though... that’s what coaches and trainers need to be teaching. HOW and WHAT the fuck to do! •
• How do I connect spiritually? • How do I connect with me lover?
• How do I manage my cashflow?
• How do I manage my emotional state?
• How do I maximize my health and vitality?
The rest is up to you... you for #dothework#TheWGR#WGRM#FearlessAgent#ProspectingAlliance#realtor#realtorlife#ilovemylife
I'm a feminist but I don't talk about it much because; - I know lots of people have strong negative opinions about the word,
- some people use the term as an excuse for man-hating or hating on any one who doesn't agree with them,
- calling myself a feminist makes people uncomfortable because they assume it means you are opinionated, rude, angry.
I believe in equal rights for men and women, I want my daughter to grow up in a world where she doesn't feel she needs to keep herself small to make men feel comfortable and I want my boys to grow up in a world where they can express themselves emotional without shame and ridicule.
This, to me is what it means to be a feminist and I don't want to be ashamed of that anymore.

Can you visualize your future? How does it feel? Can you see yourself being that person you’ve always wanted to be?
I struggle with this sometimes because it feels unnatural at first. But I get better each time I practice it which is almost everyday.
Visualizing your success and actually feeling it is so important because that’s how the law of attraction works.
If you know and feel like it’s already done then obstacles will merely be speed bumps along the way.
Now all you have to do is go out there and do the work. Brick by brick.
Love our #keelofam ! 🏆 #showup#dothework 💪

We talk a lot about compassion and taking care of yourself over in the Empowerment Studio. We even have a weekly #treatyoself thread where we talk about self care. If you need some inspiration or want to join the conversation...come and say hi! I know I'm partial, but I happen to think it's the best corner of the internet!! Link in profile.
Be a selfish fuck, tomorrow do me a favour - focus on YOU 100% - try it for ONE day, first thing...let me know how you feel? This shit will change your life...
If you don’t already know this YOU COME FIRST; how can you support everyone, be a great partner/parent, run a business - whatever - if you don’t look after #1 ?!
Today’s @activeliferx called for 38 Deads at 385lb. I managed 23 in the first set and finished the rest in the second. There are detailed instructions with how to rest and recover between and how to measure when its time to go. This is certainly progress from a few weeks ago.
After the Deads, I was to Back Squat 175lb. For 7 minutes. When I stopped the clock stopped, it was not an Amrap style attack but more steady movement and breathing for the time domain, go to almost failure before racking bar and keep recovery under 1:20. I’m assuming I’ll be a little sore tomorrow but never know. #fitness#progress#reebokathlete#staythecourse#dothework#riseup#LiVE#fnxfit @liveinvictorycrossfit
I taught all my regular classes today, including volunteering at the county jail. I have been teaching the same class to female prisoners for almost three years. The class roster changes often as people are released from jail, or moved to different facilities. The dynamic of the class often shifts weekly too, depending on their moods, their internal disputes and what’s going on in their cases. But after every class, the women always look at me and express such authentic gratitude. One woman thanked me and my co-teacher for always treating the group “like people and not like inmates.”
I teach yoga to a lot of people, and I treat each one the same, from venture capitalists to prisoners. No one is better than another. We are all the same, regardless of wealth and social status —deep down we all want happiness. I believe where we’ve landed in life is simply a result of circumstances and choices.
So take time to really see someone else for more than just their outward appearance. Say hello to the person asking for change (even if you can’t give him any); ask the cashier at the grocery store how her day has been. Being kind is the easiest way to do something BIG in a small way.✨
“Recently I was told by someone that they didn’t give a sh*t about my degrees. This hurt a lot. Especially from someone whom I seriously cared very deeply for. Someone whom has said they are “proud” of me. My back story; growing up I was dyslexic. I Had trouble reading and basically just school in general. Growing up in a military family we moved around a lot. My father retired from his service. We landed and planted ourselves luckily in one of the best school systems in New Hampshire. With persistence and determination of my own and the most F*ing grand motivation from my whole family I pursued school the best I could. Went to college. Graduated and then I had a career in radio and tv. Transitioned careers and now work as a fitness professional with the United states military. In a few short months I will finish up a masters program in applied exercise science, human movement and sports nutrition. This sh*t means a whole lot to me. I know my family and friends are darn proud. I am darn proud too. Lesson here; shut your mouth man!!!” #namaste#thedifferencebetweenarookieandachampion#dothework#dyslexic
oh Wonder-filled Beings!
This painting hangs
in my office
and when I sit at my desk
to do my work,
it literally “has my back.” Well, this afternoon
I received the most beautiful
email from someone I worked with
around some very tender
and challenging issues.
She shared with me how
the work we did
has shifted how she is feeling
and how she is now navigating
her life more smoothly...
and how grateful she is.
The thing is,
She took the work
we did together
in the writing process,
and reflection process very seriously.
And she went home
and applied the work.
When I turned around from reading
my heart feeling very full,
this was the first thing I saw,
“Small Miracles”. We have a choice
to make changes
if things are not feeling good.
We can choose to feel differently,
by deciding what is not serving us any more,
making a conscious choice
to put that down,
and instead choose
how we truly want to feel.
Then, take some Small Steps
towards just that.
When you begin
to make a different choice
towards positive change
the Universe listens,
And if you ask for signs,
It always delivers—
if you are open to them!
Yes, and often they appear
as Small Miracles.
Oh Lovely Beings,
every day is scattered
with Small Miracles,
have you noticed? “Small Miracles”

Your body won't make noticeable changes in just one healthy meal.
One cardio session.
It's going to take weeks, months and sometimes YEARS of consistency, discipline, dedication and most importantly....remembering that it's all about making one right choice at a time.
These little choices that seem like nothing are compounding into MUCH bigger things...into the things you want!
But only if you keep going.
It's easy to get discouraged & frustrated...its meant to be a SLOW PROCESS.
Quitting won't get you there any faster. So take a deep breath and BELEIVE that you got this, bc YOU DO!💗
Left (16) I was hell bent on decreasing my size by doing whatever it took. I resorted to eating disorders which developed low self esteem, body dysmorphic disorder and depression. I was teased by kids at school for my "hulk" legs or "tree trunks" so badly I'd cry for hours each night dreading the thought of going back.
Right (25) Now I'm hell bent on loving my body! Appreciating my strength, genetics AND size! I work on growing each & every day to my body's fullest potential! I THRIVE & LOVE when I see new mass! My body is capable of amazing things and for that, I am grateful.
It took YEARS to grow, change my mindset and learn to love my body! It was so worth the wait.
Well @lunula_yogastudio we couldn’t agree more 🙌🏼
This is little like being a parent: you want to be firm, but gentle; be honest with yourself without trying to defend yourself, but at the same time don’t blame or judge. 🖤
There are so many parts of ourselves that we don’t like, even hate, or hide away from others, even ourselves, yet we forget that there was a time once when our worst pattern served a purpose. So when you lose the plot a little, when things become tough and you flounder a bit, when your progress isn’t as much as you think it should be, TAKE A BREATH and remind yourself that you have taken the first step, you are on your way, you are working on your shit. And you will get through it, but the patterns you wish to change have existed your whole life; changing them won’t happen all at once.
This morning I made it 1.6 miles before Boston woke up so I told him he owed me a stroller run for getting up too early 😂. We were able to squeeze in another 3.2 miles before dinner and he was a wonderful little passenger 😄 #strollermiles#runsquad
Every time someone tells me to go weigh myself, my ass begins to twitch (you’re welcome for the visual). And yes, it is a key measurement in your health journey, but why oh why do we have to give that damn scale so much power over us?
Seriously, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve stepped on that thing thinking to myself, “No matter what it says, I’m doing great.”
Scale: Your Weight Hasn’t Moved, You Basically Suck. Just Give Up Now.
Me: Mother fuc——
So instead, I focus on non scale victories:
✅ my measurements are down
✅ I have more energy
✅ my pair of “The Jeans” fit better
✅ my hair is silky and my nails are strong
✅ my sleep is great
✅ I feel sexier
✅ I’m proud of myself
Read that last one again. That’s what you should really be measuring. If you showed up, if you struggled, if you challenged yourself, if you did the best you could…that is a victory. Celebrate it.
You’re worth more than what the scale says. Don’t let him boss you around.
Gotta friend who needs to hear this? Tag em below. Plus, I explain “The Jeans” test in my Fit Life Highlight if you want to check it out.
It has taken a long time for me to open my heart. It would come in spurts and go, but it's been many years... I've had broken bones, stitches, surgery, and have been hit, but the most challenging of them all was to get through the pain was the manipulation of the heart🌪❤️ I resented myself for allowing...all those years of being open, and believing. I've had such anger towards myself that I couldn't let many people into my life.
I've done everything possible to just get 'over' it, and find a way out of the anger I had towards myself to allow such things to happen. It's been years out of the pain and back in, but this year I finally know in my heart and I feel...see..., and accept the change🌼it's the change of letting go of the pain towards myself, and holding onto it. It's unconditional acceptance. It's releasing ALL of it! It's embracing everything 💃
I had to be open to doing the work. I had to do a lot of work on my own, and speaking my truth even if I felt rejected. ❤️I've had to ask for help. I've had to try new things, and create new patterns. But most of all I've had to be vulnerable, and open my heart to many the way I promised I never would again many years ago.
I feel so much love now, and I notice the blessings everywhere. I feel alive and I feel the life inside, and its everywhere 🦋🌷it's everything 🌱
The glow is happening🤗I just didn't know it would happen so fast! This gal is floating 🌊and surfing this dreamy life! ❤️🦋🌍
Be open to receiving healing, and change it's worth it 💞
