Took 5 minutes to register as an organ donor online. It’s amazing to know I might be able to save a life once mine has ended. If you want to register go to www.transplant.bc.ca #bctransplant#itsinyoutogive#donor#donate
It is easy to feel you are trapped in life or at work. Panic and so much else can set in.
Determine today that you will turn panic into patience. It helps me to think of a sunshine moment that is coming in the future. I forecast myself into that moment and think of the relief I will have because I know time has passed and I will have gone through the valley. When I hit that moment I realize that time and hard work with God’s mercy has brought me through.

Blood Drive Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from noon until 6:00 p.m. at the Willard Hunter Classroom in the OMC Parkway Center
Every Two Seconds, Someone Needs Blood
OMC and Community Blood Center of the Ozarks Blood Drive April 25
Ozarks Medical Center’s (OMC) and the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) will host a blood drive Wednesday, April 25, from noon until 6 p.m., at the Willard Hunter Classroom in the OMC Parkway Center.
Blood donations got a little easier in February, thanks to a new automated donor questionnaire. CBCO implemented a new computer system, and donors experienced improved steps for blood donation. To take advantage of QuickPass, visit www.cbco.org the day of your blood drive, and find the link that will start the process.
“We are encouraging everyone to give. The entire process will only take about an hour. It is amazing that with just a short time out of your day, you can help save a life,” said Joan Hanff, OMC Lab Services Director. “And now with Community Blood Center of the Ozarks starting a QuickPass program, this may even cut down on more time.”
Consider making a difference by donating blood at the next blood drive. Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. About 44,000 pints of blood are needed in the U.S. every day. Almost everyone will know someone in their lifetime who has had the need for blood. Only 38% of the population is eligible to donate, but only about 8% of those who are eligible actually donate.
For more information, visit www.cbco.org, or call the OMC Public Relations Department at 417-257-6735.

I had the honor of being a altruistic donor going on 2 years ago. Although I never got to me the recipient of my kidney, it was a life changing experience for me. I know first hand the pain and suffering those in need of a transplant go through because of my mother who has been a recipient of a Liver AND Kidney( received from my sister). It is a wonderful and almost stress free experience. Let me know if you have any questions. #donor#kidneydonor#savelives#donatelife#lifechanging#lifechangingexperience#beahero

I am great full that today we get to all stand together full of life, love and excitement for what the future holds. #donatelife#donor

If you have to get your meet on early in the morning, Stella’s in Winnipeg is a great place.
As a nonprofit, one of the most desirable times to meet with business friends is for breakfast. Sometimes they can meet just before work to hear more about the impact your cause is making. Take advantage of a great breakfast and share your story with a business person this week.
Link in bio @call_me_ak We’re looking for ethnically Korean donors to help save a dear friend’s life. If you were a Marine posted at Quantico there’s a good chance you received dental care from Naval Dentist Lt. Julie Jung. Post-military she provided free dental care to children from low-income families and child victims of trafficking and violence. Lt. Jung was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia in January (AML with FLT3 mutation) and urgently needs to find a bone marrow donor match. Julie’s life expectancy is only 2 months after her last round of Chemo which she is starting soon. Her husband Lt. Cmdr Jung is still GWOT active. If you have any Korean in your ancestry, please join the donor registry to see if you are a match at https://join.bethematch.org/fl. A testing kit will be sent to your home, and all you need to do is swab the inside of your cheek and send the kit back. Your help is greatly appreciated!
