Due to a lot of orders on the felt side of the shop for name garlands, (so awesome!!) I had to push back the release date of the blankets. I put a lot of time into making sure that they are the perfect cuddle blanket that will last for years to come. So when I get back on track this week, I’ll be re-stocking Livintage and also offering limited blankets online very soon. Thank you for your support and your patience 💛💛💛

“The bracelet seemed like a universe once the astronaut was placed by her”, @photoholic_quoter says.💫
Undoubtedly, I'm the dramatic one while, he has always been the calm, protective one in our siblingship of two.
Everything that I am, he helped me to be. My elder brother has always been my biggest inspiration in all the fields I have and am still flourishing in; be it lettering, writing or, my dearest playground, painting. He has almost never failed in fueling me with inspiration & has always been by my side when I've needed him to. From dusk till dawn, I know if I ever need someone to confide in — I have him; and that, in itself, is one of the greatest joys in the entirety of the big blue. Thank you for putting up with your dramatic little sister & all her desires. Thank you, elder one, for being who you are.
Our first collab.
Just feeling compelled and honestly convicted to share why I’ve been painting space for the last 2 years. The story feels sacred, which is why I’ve been hesitant to share it. I would much rather be sitting across the table from you face to face as I share. I didn’t want to tell it initially because I didn’t want it to be cheapened... after all it’s part of my story. But I heard the Lord saying to me just yesterday, “this isn’t just for you. Let my glory shine. If you’re going to share the art you need to share me as well.” So I’m going to share and trust God to do the rest. I know He can see your face even if I can’t. ❤️ So let’s call today PART 1 of my story. ☺️🙃
About 3-4 years ago I got to watch an artist, @2911_thetreasury paint prophetically at a conference and it was beautiful. (check her out she’s wonderful!) As I watched her work I knew I desired to explore painting with His presence as well. I went up and met her and she prayed for me. As she prayed she said she heard God saying that I’m like a leaf 🍃 being blown by the wind. I do and go where the Holy Spirit takes me.❤️🔥
Maybe a month later I decided to sit down to worship the Lord and ask Him to give me a painting. I had no idea what to expect but had decided to be brave and see what would happen. I honestly remember feeling nervous but what happened next was so amazing!
I’ll share Part 2 tomorrow! 📸 from NASA
However monotonous these lines seem -
they’ve taught me a lot.
They’ve taught me how to be better at concentrating.
They’ve taught me how to be more patient.
They’ve taught me how to keep a steady hand.
I first made these marks back at university during my degree. I grew to hate them. They made my palms sweaty, my paper smudgy and took a heck of a long time. However, I continued to make them because they were important in translating the concept of a journey onto paper. #myprocess
Remember my story from yesterday when I said something crafty was brewing? Well this is what I cooked up! I made a mini sketchbook + I can’t wait to use it 🎨
It’s been a while since I’ve created a handmade book, but I’ve really been wanting to make one again. I didn’t measure precisely and that threw off the original spine of the book. I ended up cutting off the spine and I did a stab binding that I added gold to so that I could hide the glue 😂
Anyway, keep a look out for this little cutie in future posts. Would you like to see a tutorial on how this was made (with better measuring? 🤣) Let me know in the comment section below.
“How Max imagines the poppies in Ca when I talk about them.” For anyone just now tuning into this project... it’s 10 minute daily sketches that capture the character of my beloved rabbit Max. My goal is to create 100 of them. Not be concerned about making great art — but to have enough to then curate a little memoir of his story. Then I will scan and improve the art. He will be 7 in June. And starting to slow down. I want to do this now, while I have the emotional strength. He’s the most unique rabbit I’ve ever had in that he obeys commands like a dog. Incredibly smart, polite and affectionate. 80 more to go. I should have a good stack of content for the book then. Happy Sunday. And thank you for all your good energy and creativity. #the100dayproject#100daysofmaxrabbit
