Published on the occasion of the exhibition “DE. FI. CIEN. CY” which first took place @artstationsfoundation , Poznań, followed by an abridged version which showed @drawingroom_ldn , London; the exhibition brought together the works of three incredible painters in their own rights. The catalogue (as surely also in the physical exhibition), makes many interesting comparisons between the artist’s works and also offers short paragraphs making readings and descriptions. Edited by the curator Ulrich Loock, the catalogue features a forward by Grażyna Kulczyk, an essay entitled “The powerless witness, authentic forgery, the amused muse” by Loock, and a conversation between Luc Tuymans and Anda Rottenberg (all presented in both English and Polish translations). There are also profile photographs of the three artists and also installation views. If you head to the Drawing Room’s youtube channel there is an incredible conversation between Luc Tuymans and Ulrich Loock filmed on the occasion of the Drawing Room portion of the exhibition. This book was recently found thankfully at the small but fascinating presentation of some of Wróblewski’s paintings and preparatory works at @davidzwirner , London.

A nice Saturday read now online: I wrote a text about penises 🥕🍆🌶🥖 for artist Eckhart Hahn’s new coffee table book. It is called „A handful of nothingness“ and you can find the story on my website (link in bio). #eckharthahn#distanzverlag#writerslife
