I know, I know....super lucky. But I figured we might as well capitalize on this time. So instead of electricals, we are doing math keys. 🔑 🔑🔑 The kids take the number on the left and ‘math it’ 🤣 accordingly to the key and wrap the string to the right number. On the back of the key it shows how the strings should line up for the correct answers. 🌸🌸🌸
Sooooo flash cards are cool, right?!?! But these use muscle memory & fine motor skills. And it’s just good to switch up math time. Love it. ❤️🔑❤️🔑❤️

Nothing makes this mamas heart happier than watching my kids spending time with their daddy. He has been working a lot recently. Usually the kids see him for a few minutes before he leaves in the mornings and then again right as they are heading off to bed and that is a good day. Some days its neither and some days its one or the other. It makes for long days and even longer weeks but we try to capitalize on the time daddy is home by making sure the kids get some quality time in even if it means sacrificing some of our couple time together. I love getting to watch their relationships grow and change. In a world where having both a mommy and a daddy as a family unit is no longer the norm and where so many marriages are broken up from sin. The need for strong healthy relationships between kids and their daddies is burdened on my heart and mind which is why I believe it vital to seek out and encourage our husbands and kids to spend time together growing and maturing a relationship God intended. It starts when they are little creating trust, dependability, openness, comfort, honesty, love, fun, and laughter. As they grow it continues to mold as they learn through example and word both good and bad, how to forgive and ask for forgiveness, how to play hard and be gentle. Yes, I will sacrifice “my time” so that they can learn from their daddy every day what only a father can teach. How true this is!
This is what a 22 month old toddler did the moment I handed him the equipment and ball! No instructions nor guidance was given as I was busy setting up the camera! Tadah, this was what he did! Really amazing! Beyond the science experiment concept that I wanted to convey to him on Air, it actually also trains his concentration and focus skills by capturing and aiming the ball!!! What a wonderful learning toy!
