Since my trip to Asia I became very curious to discover why the people in Thailand are so kind, peaceful, always smiling, and overall happy despite of not being the richest, healthiest, comfortable people in the world. I started being interested in Buddhist teachings. Buddhism is not a religion. Buddhism is defined as a science of the mind. One of the main teachings of Buddhism is to live in the moment. The true power of living in the moment is that all that matters is now. Worry free makes for a peaceful mind and life. It makes perfect sense now, that's why the people of Thailand are at peace!
"The present moment is really all that we have. The only place you can really love another person is in the present. Love in the past is a memory. Love in the future is a fantasy. Only in the reality of the present can we love, can we awaken, can we find peace and understanding and connection with ourselves and the world." - Jack Kornfield
DID YOU KNOW ⁉️The Sacré-Cœur in Paris, France is a Roman Catholic Church that was completed in 1914. The Church is Montmartre, a district named after the 130m hill on which the Sacré-Cœur sits. The area is known as the artists’ quarter, with Monet, Picasso and Van Gogh all having had studios round the area. I haven’t posted a photo of Paris in a while so back to spamming you all!! #didyouknow#dyktravel#travel#paris
DID YOU KNOW ⁉️ Trinity College in Cambridge, UK, has the largest undergraduate population of the Oxbridge colleges, with 600 undergraduate students. Members of Trinity have won 32 Nobel prizes and alumni include 6 former British Prime Ministers.
