This is so true!!! Before I started my weightloss journey I was fucking petrified that I couldn’t do it and if just get fatter and fatter. Failure is a scary fucking thing! And when it’s something you know you need to do as it’s making you feel so unhappy being defeated is not an option... I had 2 choices.. do nothing about it and continue wallowing in self pity and disgust... OR commit to it, turn my life around and go hard! Thank fuck that light came on when it did it I dread to think what position I’d be in now!! Then stones would have piled on and my health would have deteriorated further and my happiness and confidence would never have come!! Im hungrier then ever to have the health and body I deserve and believe me I am working my tits off to get it!!! Happy Transformation Tuesday! On Sunday, I shared my physical transformation during phase 1 of 80 Day Obsession. Today, I want to share an equally important transformation. .
The girl on the left was super negative, especially towards herself. The girl on the right occasionally still has negative thoughts, but doesn’t let it be her last thought or consume her whole day. My positive mindset now is a huge improvement, and something I desperately needed. .
How did I make that change after YEARS of negativity? A lot of it came from the community I have being a part of this program and accountability groups. However the messages & inspirational stories made me realise we all give value support & encouragement & if this can help one person a day then how much more amazing will it be!
Even though having a home Gym since 2012, I only really started in Feb 2016 thinking let me check weight training out .... So my second year facing the weights and at my age the best according to research 😉 yet still very much a novice , learning about the correct techniques & many many days I’m the only woman amongst the men in a semi hard core gym. I had 2 different training programs in 2017 with 2 different nutrition plans & results left me very disappointed for the time I spent at the Gym( the outcome & expectations for my personal results was nothing like expected) despite my consistency & hard work 5/6 days a week & weekly on a strict meal-plan which is a lifestyle for us & really truly we do not want it any other way ! ✨
4 months into 2018 and finished a self taught researched based program which given me hope and a new scope as a good place and seen as a prep for my next step! Chuffed!
Then so excited as the long awaited day arrived 16 April 2018 ready to start a new #trainingplan & #nutritionprogram which I will share about at a much later stage! So week 2 commenced this week & can now only reflect realised that all the work in the past where building foundation blocks & the journey was one where I have done things I said I will never do, achieved breakthroughs I thought I would have never experienced all because I pushed myself & did it on my own it was isolated but so perfect!
Next phase has started, knowledge and experienced gained got to know what works for my body as we are so unique & yet will never know it all. With this journey I will share more & truly so hopeful that I will see results on the standard I have set out for myself, one of my ultimate goals since 2012!
A few weeks ago the thought of completing two masters level assignments was daunting 💭 😥 I procrastinated like hell but then changed my mindset and thought BRING IT ON - LETS DO THIS 🙊💪🏼 After all, winners never quit and quitters never win. Chuffed to bits to have just submitted my last assignment of my PGDE course. My next challenge to overcome is placement 3 which starts on Monday! The end is in sight ⭐️👏🏼👩🏫 6 weeks to go. Anything is possible with hard work and determination. CHALLENGE YOURSELF! 😍
