I’m always looking for inspiration from magazines, and I’ve fallen in love with hand painted apothecary jars. I didn’t want to buy new, since there was nothing wrong with the ones I have, so I broke out the glass paint, gold leaf pen, and revamped my existing ones. I had leftover ribbon from Christmas this year and used it to accent the jars. I prefer Americana Decor gloss enamels when painting glass, and I always use the Krylon brand gold leaf pen. Both of these can be purchased at Hobby Lobby and apothecary jars can be found for ridiculously low prices (yay!) at TJ Maxx, Ross, or HomeGoods.
