Sausage and pepper ragù.
A ragù is a meat sauce which generally contains wine. For this one I used spicy Italian Sausage and Red Wine.
I sliced and browned two sausages in a bit of olive oil over medium heat. I added one sliced onion and cooked it until the onion started to soften. I added three or four cloves of sliced garlic and one sliced red pepper. I cooked all of this with a pinch of chili flakes and a pinch of dried oregano for about five minutes. I deglazed* the pan with about a half cup of red wine and continued to cook until the wine had reduced by half. I then added a 1/2 cup of hand crushed San Marzano tomatoes. I simmered all of this for about ten minutes. I seasoned with salt and peoper, tossed in the pasta which was gluten free, and finished it with a out of parm.
This is a really delicious and easy to execute dish. The recipe above serves two but you could easily make a bigger batch.

All it consists of is 1 frozen banana blended up with the juice and pulp of 1 large grapefruit 😁
