1. Lightly toss in olive oil and chilli powder.
2. Oven roast with cherry tomatoes until broccoli is cooked and starting to go just a little crispy in some parts.
3. Drizzle with homemade sauce of peanut butter, tamari, lemon juice and a little water. With a lot on the side for more dunking! 😄

This was an egg with rice and beans, avocado, strip streak w/ arepas. It tasted better than it looks. Then if you SWIPE LEFT you will see my friends breakfast. Steak, Rice and Beans, Avocado, and a Big piece of pork fat (cause pork fat is good for you). Both of our meals were very high in iron.  And of course I had to have my shake made with #MoraConLeche and it was SO good! Now that I have had the breakfast of Champions it is time for me to get back to the weight room and work my legs.

I have many people ask me about how I get my toddler to eat so well. People are shocked when they see her munching on raw mushrooms or a whole roasted garlic clove. The truth is, eating habits are formed from the moment the child is born; the biggest advice I can give is if you have the opportunity, introduce your child to a variety of fruits and veggies from the VERY beginning!! This will “prep” their taste buds for a lifelong relationship with healthy foods. 🌱

Here are 5 additional tips for getting children to eat more fruits and vegetables:
1. Involve your child in food preparation and planning. Let them choose which fruits and veggies to eat. Let them help wash or prepare food with you. Grow veggies with them so they can learn to nurture the plant. 
2. Enjoy fruits and veggies yourself. Consider what unhealthy habits you may have that need to be changed. Young children learn by example and will notice what you eat.
3. Have a good presentation of the food. Make fruits and veggies look great on the plate. Serve a variety of colors. Serve on special plate or cut up differently. 
4. Include fruits and veggies whenever possible. Add veggies to recipes such as sauces, soups or smoothies. Make banana “ice cream” instead of serving sugar filled ice cream. 
5. ALWAYS keep offering. I can’t stress this one enough. Even my good eating toddler goes through phases of not wanting certain foods and I just keep offering those foods anyway. NEVER assume a young child does not like a certain food. Children are more likely to eat what is familiar to them. Always encourage them but NEVER force them to eat a fruit or veggie. Avoid preparing alternative options. They may choose to leave certain foods, but will eventually learn to accept the meal offered. ✨👌🏻

Made this Death By Chocolate Nice Cream yesterday (recipe from @delish). It’s so easy, healthy and delicious!
🍨
You only need 4 ingredients (+water)👌🏼
•3 frozen bananas (if you don’t already have frozen bananas, peel & slice them, put them in a baggie and place it in the freezer for at least 2 hours)
•2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
•1 pinch sea salt
•1 Tbsp water
•1/4 cup cacao powder
Blend it up in a food processor and place in a dish in the fridge for a few hours then enjoy! (OR if you want it more like soft serve you can eat it right away) 😋

1/2 cup oats
1 cup cashew milk 🥛

Chopped strawberries ❤️
Splash of vanilla extract 
Brown sugar (or other sweetener) to taste 🥄

Hello and happy Sunday!✨ The perfect day for a great workout, brunch and catching up with friends ☺️ While I didn’t have brunch at @rootsandfriends today, I felt like throwing back to these epic protein pancakes I had there. This is so far my favorite brunch spot, especially after a tough workout at @balboamove (which is part of the cafe). It can be both motivating and tantalizing when the brunch smells waft down to the gym 🙈 I enjoyed these with an oat mylk matcha latte and the rest of the brunch spread (including mini pots of overnight oats, crackers and hummus, cream “cheese”, jam and a fiery ginger shot 🙌). Hello and happy Sunday!✨ The perfect day for a great workout, brunch and catching up with friends ☺️ While I didn’t have brunch at @rootsandfriends today, I felt like throwing back to these epic protein pancakes I had there. This is so far my favorite brunch spot, especially after a tough workout at @balboamove (which is part of the cafe). It can be both motivating and tantalizing when the brunch smells waft down to the gym 🙈 I enjoyed these with an oat mylk matcha latte and the rest of the brunch spread (including mini pots of overnight oats, crackers and hummus, cream “cheese”, jam and a fiery ginger shot 🙌). Sunday brekkies in bed-perfect for a chilly morning. I love the combination of caramel and pear and so I spruced up my oats ;-). 50g oats made with boiling water and placed in the microwave to cook. I then added 100ml of lactose free plain yoghurt and 1/2 serving of caramel popcorn USN bluelab whey and stirred in 1/2 a chopped medium pear (which I also heated up to make if Nice and soft) and finished it off with some coconut shavings-Yummy! We travel always with our homemade Sauerkraut... in this case it’s my homemade “Superkraut”, packed with good bacteria for health & beauty. ☺️Sometimes it’s not easy to get fresh and organic vegetables  in remote areas, so we just open a jar and put the fermented veggies on top of the dish. .

Yuks cb bikin CAKE BELVITA YOGURT ( baca : bolu). Bergizi tinggi cocok untuk sahur/ buka puasa. Rasanya mirip2 brownies..tekstur lembut...yummy.. Bahan pokok cmn terdiri dr 4 keping biskuit belvita & 6 sdm Wyndi's Yogurt ( berlaku kelipatannya tentu 😊 )

Cara :
Haluskan 4 biskuit belvita sampai menyerupai tekstur gula pasir. Lalu tambahkan 3 sdm gula pasir. Aduk rata.
Tuang 6 sdm Wyndi's yogurt rasa nya bebas. Yg di gambar adlh belvita rasa pisang ( supaya sensasi bau gandumnya hanya samar2 ) dan Plain yogurt dr Wyndi's. Lalu kukus selama 30 menit saja. Angkat. Tabur dengan topping sesuai selera. Keju parut atau kismis...dll.

Ah, the generosity of nature! These quinoa plants are a sight for sore eyes. It's too easy for city dwellers to forget that most of our food—so often delivered to us in aseptic plastic packages—comes from highly complex, utterly beautiful forms that result from very advanced reproductive strategies that species deploy in order to secure their place under the sun. This quinoa plant has not bloomed yet. The pollen of this variety is an irresistible shade of bluish magenta.

After reading more about quinoa I feel like there is something close to magical about this plant beyond its fairy-like good looks. The plant is extremely drought tolerant and can survive high levels of salt, wind and frost. Its broad leaves make for highly nutritious vegetable greens. However, quinoa seeds take the prize. These small grains carry a protein content characterized by an essential amino acid balance that is close to ideal for human consumption. It is high in lysine, for example, an amino acid usually absent from cereals like corn, wheat and barley.  No wonder the Incas were cultivating so much of it.

There is a catch. Every smart plant needs to take care of its seeds. Quinoa seeds are covered with saponin, an antinutrient birds and deer know best to stay away from. For us infamously ingenious homo sapiens, the wonders of this seed can be attained by simply rinsing the seeds thoroughly.

I’m pretty excited. For the first time in a long time, I can’t hear the white noise. I can’t hear my cravings asking for something other than what I have prepped. I can’t hear my insecurities comparing my journey to someone else’s. I can’t hear haters, judges, and assholes.
