Some of my favourite keto staples all in one bowl. I have these every day as well as kale, apple cider vinegar, lemon, salad and Himalayan salt. Also vitamin C and B1 supplements. Name any keto “side effect” and at least one of the above will counteract it.
Another successful semester. I learned SO much. I learned about 30 more essential oils and their chemical properties and therapeutic actions. I learned about diseases and illnesses of the body and holistic protocols and lifestyle modifications to help. Along with that, I am currently doing Leanne Vogel’s 12 week keto program to learn more about keto for women. AND... I will be watching KetoCon (ketogenic conference) live from my computer at home in a June. I went in person last year but can’t make it this year. Plus - I’ll be saving up to do Dr. Eric Berg’s Ketogenic Certification once I graduate and hit the road! Future is looking so bright....I gotta wear shades. Lol! 🤣

I did the fastest, most basic mealprep this week that I could. Be prepared for lots of adult lunchables and salads 😂. I also did the most streamlined version of this dish to date: egg roll in a bowl! Pound of already peeled shrimp, pound of ground meat, pre shredded cabbage, and handful of seasoning ingredients make this one a no brainer and fast 👍👍
IM BAAAAAAACK! Past week has been topsy turvy for me, including finishing out Sunday night with a migraine. But I feel good today, had a decent workout this morning, and now I’m polishing off this #breakfast : pastured eggs, vegetarian sausage patty, dairy free cream cheese, and a scoop of guacamole
My migraine hit about half an hour before we had to clear out of the house for the showing 🙄😐. In my stories I posted a pic of me in the car in parking lot with an eye mask on to block out the light. People prolly thought I was having a diva moment 💁♀️
Good news is I flushed out 2.5 of the extra 3 lbs I’ve been keeping around for awhile now! 🙌
Perfection!😋👌 After reviewing 8 popular recipes for "Egg Roll in a Bowl" A.K.A. "Crackslaw" and testing several variations I finally came up with my own version by combining different recipes and adding a few of my own ingredients.
The final result was a delicious blend of flavors that left our mouths watering for more.... needless to say there were NO LEFTOVERS😜 .

A couple of things to note: -I used ground turkey in the version pictured
- I could've used more shredded cabbage
- The banana peppers on top were for garnish. I cooked chunks of banana peppers into the dish. (this ingredient is not listed in any of the recipes I reviewed online however, it makes a great addition) - I just noticed where I listed "Garlic chili sauce" in the ingredients--- it's actually "Chili garlic sauce"- which is basically Sriracha without the added sugar! - This recipe was 2 healthy servings for 2 Hungry Grown Adults 😜

I went to Whole Foods for walnuts and bone broth. This happens every time 😂 I love this store for my keto foods.
Prior to keto, I may have eaten pork rinds once in my life. The last week I've eaten pork rinds daily 😁
I've been buying Plain pork rinds and adding my own spices at home. Most seasoned rinds have sugar added, the ingredients will have it listed as, "maltodextrin or dextrose"--- the ingredient that disturbs me the most is the monosodium glutamate aka MSG- MSG gives me headaches every time!
I was excited to find that the Epic brand makes "keto approved" pork rinds. They are yummy too! *Swipe through pics to see ingredients*
Epic also has a Venison jerky without sugar added - but you have to be careful because ALL of their other jerky has added sweeteners.
Someone recommended "kite hill cream cheese spread" as a dairy free alternative because it is made with almond milk. I noticed that Whole foods carries it, so naturally I had to try it - It was really good! 😋
I'm also looking forward to trying a new Sugar free BACON that Whole foods just started carrying! 🥓
All in all, I got out of Whole foods with under 100 bucks spent - so I consider that a success😜
