I stopped taking weekly measurements because the progress seemed slow and it was disappointing. This wasn't disappointing though 👍 I am especially pumped about the "mid gut" area. It is the largest part of my body and I was several inches from closing the 60 inch measuring tape when I started in Feb. Proud of the hard work I have put in to get here 👊✌

I told myself last night after having yet another emotional breakdown that I would have a productive day today! I wouldn’t stay in bed and watch tv shows, I’d get up and stay out of the house except when I need to eat the fooodzzzzz. I’m proud to say I stuck to my word. This morning I found myself walking around the avenue, I went straight to gym from there. Sometimes you really do need to just kick yourself and start believing in yourself! I talk a lot about believing in yourself but I know how hard it can be sometimes because I still find myself struggling now. 
I hope everyone has a great weekend and keeps active! 
My number one goal for this weekend is I won’t stay in bed and feel sorry for myself, I’m gonna get out there, enjoy the cold weather ( hahahahahahahha 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️) and just live.

This morning I found myself walking around the avenue, I went straight to gym from there. Sometimes you really do need to just kick yourself and start believing in yourself! Whether you’re that person trying to nonchalantly glance at the machine label to find out a) What this contraption is called, b) What even the heck you do with it, or c) awkwardly squatting only the bar while the 300 lb. bodybuilder beside you squats 3x your body weight...Or you’re that person, uncomfortable with your body image, walking into the gym for the 1000th time and still feeling like you have no idea what you’re doing...It’s okay. I was too. I AM too. 
_______________________________________________________ Let’s be honest here. Most people, if not all, are in some way or another worried about how they look to others. That’s not to say, though, that this is a God-approved tendency. This is an identifiable weakness, with the potential of being made a strength through Christ.

I could give you a bunch of tips, like reviewing your workout plan beforehand or going to the gym when it is least busy, or I could cut to the chase and remind you that through Christ, you are enough. You are there, glorifying God with your body by taking care of His temple. You go to the gym to build yourself, both physically and mentally. You don’t walk in already built. If you did, you wouldn’t need to go! If you are there, and have more knowledge/working harder than the day before, you are just fine.

It's #weighinwednesday ! I am not at all surprised by this tiny loss. Still seeing a difference in my body 👍 I have been eating kind of crappy for about a week. I've been staying in my calories, but lots of processed food/sodium (like frozen breakfast sandwiches and Chick Fil A salads) and too much substituting dark chocolate for real food 😂 and oh yeah a bottle of wine on Mother's Day 😬😁 So I take no offense here, happy for a loss, and attempting to reign in the eating this week. Back to salad and chicken for me! .

3. Lay on your stomach at the bottom of the hill.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Jump up and sprint as fast as you  can up the hill until you reach the top.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Slowly walk back down to the bottom and lie on your stomach⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6. Get up and sprint to the top again⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Today was cardio & ab day for me and I gotta say I am proud to have smashed that workout successfully! (HIIT Treadmill workouts can be scary 😫) I have increased cardio workouts because I recently began to cut again! I don't run or pace walk for a long time but rather do 10 to 15 min of HIIT workouts everyday and it is working pretty well for me! I don't have to workout for hours on end to slim down and I am sweating balls at the end of each quick workout session! If anyone is struggling to find time to workout, look up H.I.I.T workouts! You can blast unwanted fat and get in shape without having to spend hours at the gym! The best part of HIIT is that you can do it from home!!
