We are all fundamentallly compassionate, loving and kind individuals.
We love our families, our friends, our dogs and our cats. When I talk to people at a @cubeoftruth, all I do is ask them to please consider expanding that existing circle of compassion within them to other living, sentient beings like pigs, cows or chickens.
Just like us, these animals have the capacity to suffer immensly. They might be less intelligent than us, but their ability to suffer is just as big. They have a brain and a central nervous system which not only makes them feel pain, it also makes them love their children and enjoy their freedom. And shouldn't these capabilities be what we should look at?
As it is proven scientifically that we don't need any animal products to not only survive but to thrive physically, shouldn't we at least take an individuals suffering into consideration when we act?
Do we really believe that our taste buds are more important than someone else's life?
I don't believe that. And, even if you still eat meat, I know that, in your heart, you agree.

Today while I was in New Orleans I saw a group of animal rights activist. They were doing the cube of truth. I went up to them and told them that I was happy that they were telling people about the truths of the meat and dairy industries. When you see animal rights activist doing this please tell them that you are happy that they are there. They need to know how much they are apreciated.
Eat fruit 🍇🍉🍌not friends 🐮🐶🐷I absolutely loved meeting this guy, it was my first time actually meeting a pig in person he was so affectionate and loving, he had such a big personality. After that encounter, it really saddened me like most people I’ve eaten meat for most of my life until I turned vegan three years ago. I used to consider myself an ‘animal lover’ but I was eating them at the same time? Just doesn’t make any sense to love one yet eat another, animals are equal they all feel pain, emotions and have the desire to live, just like us! Make the connection to your food and go vegan 🌱
Animals are our fellow creatures. Like us, they can feel pain. Since we can be perfectly healthy on a vegan diet, why should we kill and torture them? Unlike lions or crocodiles, we have the ability to choose what we eat, so why eat animals?
A lot of people never consciously make the choice to consume animal products. They are given meat and milk their whole childhood and are just used to it. There are no school outings to the slaughterhouse or to factory farms, so children don’t really realize what they are eating. A piece of steak doesn’t come with a picture of the cow who was killed for it. If people had to kill the animals themselves, there would be a lot more vegetarians. The dirty work is done in places we choose not to think about and never visit.
Each year an average of 43.2 billion animals are killed for food worldwide.
2018.05.19 - This day my wife and I join street activism in #korea .. Effective action with great people. ❤
I got a lot of hope for the future. Honestly.. 😊
VERY surprised to see how much people on this shopping area could be so curious and so open-minded. Through our masks we were able to see some stares and some really touching reactions. We were there to show you the truth, invitation to think and recreate a link between the suffering animal, waiting for death and the meat in our plate, the dead skin in our clothes.
That day we saw so many people stop in front of the #cubeoftruth , they look at us, they think and they take this problem very seriously. Many of them asked if it's possible to live without all of that, how to act and they're gonna try to change their diet or lifestyle towards a vegetarian or vegan transition to no longer contribute to all that. Because if people "think" then people stop killing innocent people unnecessarily.
FULL RESPECT TO YOU! YOU'RE THE BEST!! 👍
THANKS FOR BEING THERE! THANKS FOR THEM! ❤
Love talking to children at a Cube of Truth - they see what’s happening to the animals, they say it’s wrong. Then, when they learn we don’t need to eat animals‘ dead chopped up bodies but can thrive on plant based food instead 👉🏽 they want to stop eating them. No excuses like adults.
The sad thing is when they say my parents won’t allow me... I’m sorry to hear that your parents won’t allow you to be a more compassionate human being. 🤦🏽♀️ but I always say they should try their best and watch documentaries like @cowspiracy @forksoverknives and @earthlingsfilm with them.
Those movies are a must watch ❗️if you haven’t seen them already, please check them out. If we can spend time on Netflix to watch bullshit all day we can invest a little time to watch something that makes us smarter right 🤷🏽♀️🌞
Good times last night at @george_martin_ar’s birthday do. Please follow George on social media to see sound, watertight status updates supporting animal rights. If you’re already vegan, you’ll find logical statements and analogies to help back up what you already know to be true. If you’re not yet vegan, see whether you can justify your lifestyle ‘choices’ against his truth bombs. 👊🏼🌱❤️🐾💣
Activism in Valletta this Saturday with #veganmalta This is called a #cubeoftruth because we're trying to show people the truth of animal exploitation. It's not pretty. Usually I prefer to show people the loving happy side of a compassionate lifestyle, but this really is the truth. So moving to be a part of this 🌍💚🙏
being vegan isn’t enough.
veganism in itself is just the moral baseline. not contributing to the torture, forceful insemination and impregnation, harm, separating mothers from their babies, treating males like garbage and killing of the animals is the least thing you can do.
i mean don’t get me wrong, it’s great if you’re vegan but it isn’t enough. by being vegan you do not pay for animals to be harmed but you don’t stop other people from doing so.
to change anything we need to get active. there are so many forms of activism that there’s one that fits to every individual vegan. if you like to talk to people, do outreach. if you are an artist, draw stuff. if you cook amazing meals, show people that vegan food is pretty awesome. if you have a large following, post about it on social media. if you don’t feel comfortable to interact with people, do chalktivism or put stickers everywhere in your city. go to vigils, cubes and dxe actions. you don’t need to be the one in the front, it’s important that you’re there. every single person that attends vegan activist events counts. we need those large numbers to show people that we are many and that we are willing to fight until the exploitation is finally over. and every action is relevant!
just imagine someone who never came across veganism. imagine that person walking through the city and seeing „go vegan“ stickers everywhere. a few days later they go on social media and see a picture someone posted from a vigil. the next day they grab lunch at mcdonald’s and there’s a direct action happening. after that they talk to people at a cube. suddenly veganism is on their conscious mind and they start to think about it more and more. maybe they then watch a video with slaughterhouse footage and that’s the last push they needed to make the connection and make a change. do you know what i mean? it’s not „pushing our beliefs on them“. we need to get it into their mind and make them aware of what’s happening. and we only can do that when we’re active.
if you want to get active just take a look at the anonymous for the voiceless or the save movement website or hit me up, i’m happy to help you!
Hey guys we're almost at my groups goal to purchase more equipment.
If you're unsure what AV is, they are an animal activist organization who tries to edcate/show the public how your food gets to your plate.
We give out information/show footage to the public about healthy vegan lifestyle and animal farming conditions to help reduce the suffering, environmental impact and improve the health of people everywhere.
We need equipment, like screens to show videos, speakers to have sound for outside and a big power bank to help us run the equipment.
Even if you aren't vegan, donating to the Charlotte AV chapter would greatly help us to be able to spread a message of empathy, sustainability and love. Which to me, I think we can all agree on.
We also post receipts of everything we buy so you know your money isn't going anywhere else.
If you'd like to donate please click on the link below.
Thank you guys x
My first #CubeOfTruth with #VeganMalta
Amazing experience! Incredibly hard, and incredibly rewarding. Seeing tears in people's eyes made me realize that we are making a difference. That the #truth is still not well known. And that's why we are there, standing in silence, showing people the pain they are causing. Hoping to end the unnecessary suffering.
