Lund is a prominent Swedish cultural management expert whose professional portfolio includes dozens of international projects, years of close collaboration with government sector in Sweden and globally, establishing of unique art centers, schools and programs. Born in Sweden, having graduated from The University of Stockholm with diploma in political science, international relations and history of economics and currently having his MA at Middle East Studies, Mr. Lund chooses to start sharing his expertise within CARPE DIEM for Education & Consulting in the field of Culture, Arts Management and Curating, as one of his strongest competences.
Mr. Lund’s passion for arts and cultural projects helped him become a true Pioneer in the sphere of contemporary arts and architecture in Sweden by founding together with his partner Färgfabriken, the biggest private art institution in Sweden with a totally new type of art space. We are excited today to see our dear friends Mimi and Tun Mine - brother and sister from Myanmar. We became family 2 years ago when we were living on this island. We had been painting sculptures carved by Thai and Burmese woodcarvers and named one of our pieces after Tun Mine. We were swimming in the ocean everyday, which had inspired us to come manifest this project 2 years later. They were excited to come see what we have been working on. We will celebrate the full moon with them by going to their Buddhist temple. Though we don't speak the same language we express love and care for each other and communicate through hugs, laughter and sharing in experiences. Led by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute (NTCRI), A New Layer Taiwan fosters partnerships between Taiwanese and international designers and craftspeople. The NTCRI invited Belgium-based curator Lise Coirier of Spazio Nobile as art director and designers from France, Germany, Israel, Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden, and Switzerland to Taiwan to work with some of the most talented local craftspeople on the island. These designers have created six projects with local Taiwanese craftsmen that are exhibited for the first time at Design Miami/ Basel @designmiami @spazionobilegallery Scenography by @julierichoz
