No it's cool, Dodger. I wasn't trying to do a last minute fix on Elmo's wonky eye when you decided to sit in my lap and get your bath on. You get that foot, buddy 😐 #whoamikidding#secretlyiloveit
Here's a quick little sneak peak of Elmo for ya ❤️. Just don't mind the cute little tuxedo cat stealing the spotlight 😍
Can someone pinch me? Today, I got to be on @the.hook.nook blog!! 💗
The first pattern I ever bought was the Puff Stitch Beanie. Like so many of Jessica’s designs, I loved that it made crochet look cool.
I remember when she started the Hook Nook Facebook Group. I felt like I finally had a little corner of the internet to hide in and read all the amazing posts about yarn.
Then, I ventured out into the social media universe and started Woods and Wool. It was scary to put myself out there (and it still is sometimes). I felt like I had no clue what I was doing (and still feel that way all the time). But Jessica was kind of like that North Star. She guided makers and showed us that we could do it.
Jessica’s style is nothing short of iconic, but what really sets her apart is her heart. She has the kindest soul and cares so much about the maker community. She radiates positivity and promotes authenticity.
It’s amazing to be able to work with someone you’ve looked up to for so long. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be on her blog today but most of all, I’m thankful for the impact she’s made on me and the rest of the maker community. 💗
