The #popxnairobi instameet was such a great success!! I was honoured to be one of the guest photographers, and meeting and interacting with Kenya's talent is just a phenomenal vibe❤ thank you so much @pursuitofportraits @igkenya for this beautiful opportunity!
Hola Bookstagramners .Whose ready to conquer a new week !!!
✴️ I finally finished reading #eleanoroliphantiscompletelyfine .The fact that I read the book in fragmented bits took away some of the fun. This is the kind of book that calls to be devoured in one sitting.
Eleanor is a loner with no friends and family & almost zero social skills .Though she's inept in the ways of society , she's frank & opininated and hilarious (not intentionally though)From the very beginning of the book you get the idea of a major tragedy having occurred in Eleanor's childhood. As the story goes on you learn more about why Eleanor is the way she is ,how she deals with circumstances in her own Eleanoresque way .From saving strangers to developing a crush ,from getting makeovers to developing friendships, from almost killing herself to finding the courage to seek medical help is one rollercoaster.Eventually you see her blossom into a more "normal" person in society .At the heart of the book is the friendship between Elenor & Raymond & how it helps her become her own person.
I would highly recommend this book to everyone.Read it to appreciate your friends & family .Read it to be less judgemental .Read it cos depression affects all of us at some levels.Above all read it cos There's always hope if you find Courage n Support ❤️
Have you read this one - would love to know your thoughts.
Topsail Island its been real, but next stop is home 🤗 I love going away on little vacays (and big ones) but when it’s time to go home I get excited. Johnston county will always have my heart. Who’s the same way!?
Eeeep! We are into the first week of #RollUpBeanieChallenge and this week it’s all about the wool and tools! (Does a cup of tea count as a knitting tool, because I think it’s quite essential?) The link is my bio to join in and the first email tells you exactly what you need before we can get started on actually knitting up the little beanie! (Hope you don’t mind me sharing this photo again, just it’s one of my favourites!) #woolandtools
I mean, their faces say it all❤️. Yesterday’s wedding was so perfect, so much love and beautiful emotions. Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Patten! I am still so honored I got to be apart of your guys special day. Here’s a little sneak peek ✨
Librarynth. What a wonderful place to get lost in. I used to do it very often, when I was little. That's where I literally started exploring the world. I've been in America with Tom Sawyer, I've been in India with Mowgli, I've even been on the inhabitant island with Robinson Crusoe.
So why do they say "lost in books", huh? Maybe because if you're not lost, you're not much of explorer, are you? So we better get lost then. 💓💕 #whpgetlost
Have you ever felt like you had a "friend" that was secretly jealous of you? Well, you aren’t alone because many people will encounter snakes in their grass at some point in time. You don’t have to be Bill Gates or Miss America to have a "friend" that secretly envies you. It could be your confidence, personality, social skills, style, love life, intellect, or even potential success that could have them seeing green. In order to live a happy and positive life, you have to rid yourself of the people who don’t want to see you WIN! 👊 #ThatPart
