GM! Back in 2012/13 I was fortunate to be a part of a fitness segment on NBC’s Today In LA called #wakeupworkout It aired a few times a wk at around 5 am, usually between the weather girl and the money guy ha. Some of you might remember. We bounced around from location to location with the awesome and hilarious cam guru @extremecam hitting gyms, parks, beaches providing health and wellness tips in a short 1-2 min segment. Was so much fun! Recently I was inspired by client, good friend and manager lol @neuehaus to bring it back so here’s take 1 just out of bed. I probably should have rehearsed a bit😂 Forgot to mention a few things
#getoutside as often as you can, earlier the better, especially if you work inside under artificial light. No sunglasses! Our eyes make melatonin and set our #circadianrhythm from morning sunlight🤔 And that’s just the beginning.
#moveoften especially if you sit a majority of the day. Actually any position or repetitive motion for an extended period can be detrimental. Get out there early and #movethatbody , change terrain, levels, planes. #barefoot when you can. Here’s a few basics to mix up that morning walk wherever you are! #sideshuffle#broadjumps#walkinglunges#skipping#sidelunges#crawling#sprinting 30 sec ea walk recover. 3 rounds+ and don’t forget to #breathe !
Hope you can squeeze in some outside time this morning! Finish up your week strong💪🏼👊🏼💥🤙🏼
CALM and CONTROLLED 😎

The block forces him to slow down and really pay attention to the entire movement. Being able to sequence this crawl pattern is 🔑 and carries over to many components of a tactical athlete. Adding crawling to your training is a MUST❗️ @realmattwenning @jeffcscs @onetimepowerlifting #crawling#control#pattern#core
