#tbt to working with @mrsupersock on Antony and Cleopatra at Synetic Theater ( @synetictheater ) in 2010. It was our first show performing at the Lansburgh Theater — the Shakespeare Theater’s space, in DC.
This show was special for a lot of reasons — the people, the process, the venue, getting to play with Georgian sword dancing and making sparks fly around in mass combat, growing my hair ridiculously long, getting to play Antony opposite Irina Tsikurishvili’s astounding performance as Cleopatra…but today I just wanted to highlight what a joy it always is to be able to perform alongside Ryan Sellers. He’s a brother, a troublemaker, a truly gifted actor, and a human being who has grown and matured in wonderful ways since we first started working together. .
Also have fun noticing how much smaller my right arm is from my left — that whole show I never used my right arm — four months before I’d undergone surgery for a SLAP tear in my right shoulder, so I joined Peter Pereyra in the left-handed club for that show…

Interesting how a single nail can tell you so much about something. This nail came out of this evening's project (more pictures soon). Square tapered nails like this were made one at a time out of a single piece of iron, and stopped being produced around 1880, so it's likely that at the very youngest what I'm working on came from the tail end of the 19th century.

С каждой новой раскроенной деталью, с каждым новым стежком растет мой опыт, как следствие, растет и качество изделий😊 Сейчас смотрю на свои первые картхолдер и портмоне и вижу, что многого достигла за 2 года работы с кожей.

It's always fun exploring new designs and shapes. This is a small ladle/serving spoon made from European nettle tree, not sure if its practical to use but it look interesting 😃
