*overhead squats *jump *walk w sandbags *run as fast as possible
*farmer's walk 80lb
*pull 200lb *flip tire
*hit the wall left to right w a tire
*push ups *hit tire w hammer
*hump up and down tire *stairs up and down
Top off with 30mins boxing😓
When talking focus it’s either internal or external. Internally focusing on specific movements or externally focusing on the results of that movement.
In terms of dancing and many other sports, “optimal” performance is reached when the appropriate amount of both are utilized
I AM NOT A DANCE TEACHER, I used this concept by employing paper with different color names on them BUT the color of the font does not match the color written. While doing mountain climbers on plates, the girls had to shout out the color of the font immediately.
Why? Enhancing their ability to think with an elevated heart rate is a key goal. They are extremely athletic and higher level athletes require more “stimuli” and feedback in order to enhance their learning.
THINKING TAKES ENERGY, by utilizing this technique we are training the ability for greater focus to be autonomous. Allowing energy to be spent on the actual movements they practice outside of our sessions.

I planned this giant cheese sauce covered burrito after thinking about the words on one of my favorite shirts.
🗣 I don’t count calories(always count blessings). I track my nutrients sensibly and deliciously.
They said: No one can get or stay lean eating a chimichanga made of four tortillas and filled with all the excess of American imagination. Not to mention cover that in cheese sauce and salsa as it sits on a mountain of fries(fries and hot sauce with everything).
I said: Get my bed ready because I’m gonna need a nap after this.

Just know I’m being patient until I feel like my weak points are up shoulders, chest and traps then it will be time to get back on fuller and better. #ThrowbackThursday 💥watch until the end 👉🏾 I don’t just talk out of my ass when I speak about Steel Mace Training and what it takes to improve. This didn’t and doesn’t come naturally. It takes work. It takes time. Most importantly it takes understanding the mechanics and how to increase the physical capacity and bandwidth to fit the skills inside. .
🔺FACT: the vast majority of people are trying to fit these complex skills into a small container. .
🔺FACT: no one wants to increase the size of the container. Everyone wants to just hammer at the skill, forcing the body to compensate into working. Anything forced into compliance is gonna eventually seek freedom. .
🔺FACT: I took multiple steps back to go forward; including losing weight and changing my body from a bodybuilding style to a more athletic physical size. I also spent a lot of time working both specific and non specific adaptations to feed better patterning. .
🔺FACT: age does matter as to how quickly and how the body will compensate and adjust. AND sometimes that adjustment doesn’t present its long term effects, well until a ways down the line. .
I say all this to say trust the process. And if you don’t have a process, maybe you should seek out someone who has a thought process to progress. .

Inner conflict eating away at every last piece of my soul, disconnecting me from everything great I could be. How did I end up here, yeah I know trauma exists and nobody can run from it. Run from it? Is that what I'm suppose to do? I don't know anymore. I've never been more into feeling comfortable in it, and embracing that through time thats all it is, is time. Funny how I'm living in moments of time that I can never go back an undo, it's gotten so bad I'm no longer living in the present moment.
