Don’t allow training, bodybuilding or dieting become a chore like process. If you do, chances are after a few days you’ll be sick of it all and throw the towel in. .
If you do start to feel this way, you need to step back and reevaluate your “why”. Why you started this whole journey in the first place. .
If there’s no drive or end goal, on the tough days you have nothing to focus on pulling you through. Your why is what will guide you to success, and allow the enjoyment to stay throughout the whole process, knowing that each day is getting you closer to where you want to be 👊🏼

#progresspic update! So far, so good! This is 171.2 pounds. We just finished an intense 5 weeks of volume training. This is the first photo and first day beginning our new strength phase of training. I’m pounding 4,000 calories a day, 6 days a week, followed by a 30 - 32 hour fast on my non-training day. This is my fasted photo. •
During the week I typically sit a few pounds heavier, and after the fast, I will drop those extra few pounds. So far I am happy with the progress that I am seeing. The goal will be to increase caloric intake as necessary when growth slows down or stalls out. I’m taking advantage of a few metabolic adaptations via the fasting. One of the biggest being that it helps with gut health and some hormonal balance/reset. This isn’t gospel, so don’t take it as such. I’m still reading up on the positives and negatives, but so far I’m experiencing positive. Another benefit is taking BCAA’s pre and post fasted training. There is some actual proven benefit to this. Again, I’m still researching, but so far, I’m seeing positive results.
I continue to experiment with ways to improve my diet, via nutrition and methodology. I encourage you all to research as much as possible and find ways that best fit you and you can tolerate, or live with. I have incorporated these changes into my daily life. They are tough, but decisions that I have made regardless of what anyone else thinks or wants of me. No one else is going to achieve my results or goals for me, so their judgement has no bearing on what I do. Yesterday was a surreal experience and I’m so happy I made the decision 13 weeks ago to begin a figure competition prep. All the ladies I met yesterday were beautiful and looked amazing and I was definitely up against some fierce competition. Despite that, I was amazed at the amount of kindness, respect and pure love shown by all the competitors. I made new friends backstage and received some of the nicest compliments from my fellow competitors and I am so, so humbled by the entire experience. I can’t wait for the next show @officialocb_page ! @nysnatural here I come! @nnechampionships you put on a great show!

Time for another physique update because I hit yet another new low weight on the scale this morning! As of right now, I’m absolutely loving this prep! 💕 It’s so much fun to watch my body change and I don’t even feel like I’m prepping yet. I continue to have a ton of energy, am loving my workout sessions, and continue to hit new low weigh ins weekly. Things seem to be progressing nicely, I only hope it keeps up like this 🤞🏻.
Additional Thoughts: Mentally, I feel that I’m much better prepared this time around, which is helping out a lot. I also have a game plan for post show, which should help out too! 🙌🏻

Calories: Currently consuming just over 1500
Cardio: running 5 days a weeks for 30-40 minutes (which I love!)
The other half TC muscle also had an incredible competition yesterday at the NPC Lehigh Valley Championships. Among many other awards, I am proud to share that we also won the team award. Unfortunately every national show this season conflicts with my school schedule 🙄 BUT after talking to my professors, they agreed to let me start the fall semester bit late in order to compete at North Americans!
