A couple of weekends ago I was invited to @caferrosusa to learn about their growing, milling and roasting process. Besides leaving fully coffee buzzed, I also left as one of their biggest fans. Thank you to #thecoffeeguys for your great hospitality and for sharing all your great brew. #columbiancoffee

Benefits of a brother living in Newcastle? Getting to visit the roastary at @ouseburncoffee .
We’ve brought back two absolute bangers for you guys to try: .
A washed Chinese coffee from the Fuyan co-op, an inspirational trader, genuinely dedicated to improving the coffee quality grown on their beautiful and fertile land. Ouseburn are the first roasters in the UK to offer this harvest, so it really is something special. It’s a really subtle, tea like brew with notes brown spice, star fruit, mandarin orange and roasted hazelnut.
The second offering is a washed columbian bean, from an international women’s farming co-operative. The mantra of this group is to simply improve the quality of life for their member, and their families. This is such a well rounded coffee, boasting taste notes of pomegranate molasses, crisp lime and raspberry. A really complex cup that does the women who farmed it justice.
Both these coffees are available as either V60 or Siphon now.
There are few things we love more than finding new favorite coffee roasters. ‘Good coffee’ is subjective so finding a match to your brewing style and flavor pallet is so exciting! Big shoutout to @bailiescoffee for their devine beans. We have now tried their Geisha, Panama, Ethiopia & Columbia, and are super impressed 🙌🏻
