Our new Colombian offering is from the town of San Agustin. It is located in the southern corner of Colombia in the Department of Huila. This particular coffee is comprised of several tiny lots from the vereda of La Murall. San Agustin is a great area for high grown coffee, with farms ranging in the 1600 - 1850 meters above sea level. There's prime coffee growing conditions in this area and the fact that it is in relatively close proximity to the equator means that we can expect harvests nearly year round. Most of the farms in San Agustin depulp their cherry using manual, hand cranking depulpers. This is a mix of Castillo, Caturra varieties.
Cupping Notes: Honey, chocolate caramel, butter, finish of black tea with lemon.
Our Finca Mallorca honey processed Geisha is looking just like honey in this beautiful shot taken by @wil.sue 😍 You can find this coffee at @perpetual.espressobar @___goodbyehorses___ @devoncafe and of course @gandt_kingst ☕️ drop by for a brew! 🙋♂️
