Q1. Why should I buy special toothpaste for my kids?
Let me answer this question very simply. Since, kids don't like the taste of toothpastes that are for adults. Also, the formulation of kids' toothpaste is milder than the ones meant for adults. Kids below age of two are not able to spit and they end up swallowing. This might have adverse effect on their health in longer run. Excess fluoride can also cause damage to teeth. Hence, milder toothpastes are always recommended.

Let’s talk about colour, shall we? When @mariadoering and I started the Shared Energies project, we started off in our comfort zones of using black and red. Eventually we added blue and orange as Maria would throw me a curveball by mail - meaning I’d open a package of drawings to see she threw a big splash of colour to the paper. During our first residency, we stayed within these unspoken constraints we unintentionally built for ourselves, but slowly we moved away from using black linework as our starting base and leaned into a few drawings without any black at all. This continued over the year as we mailed drawings back and forth. Entering our second residency, I hadn’t given any thought to adding new elements, but Maria had her curveball again: she added purple. This made me VERY uncomfortable. We talk about that moment a lot and after we unpacked it, we decided to not constrain ourselves anymore. So we are moving forward more boldly now. (Slideshow shows progression with some current #wip drawings at the end). I’m very excited to see what happens on our large scale drawings with our new explorations!
Two new collaborations from amazing breweries are in! The new Southern Symphony from @beerwildheaven and @cigarcitybrewing is a barrel aged Brett beer with native georgia grapes! And the Braupakt Hefe Weissbier from @weihenstephanbeer and @sierranevada is out of this world! We love when breweries get together for these types of projects! #collaboration#beerrocks#ilovecraftbeer#instabeer#greatmindsthinkalike#beer

The still water of the river provided an illusion of a solid surface. The placid hill stood there as a shadow in space which was wrapped in blackness spread by the night sky. Multiple houses along the foot of the hill severely engaged with the darkness, as if in a duel. The weapons were its own illuminated souls. Chilly & heavy winds whirled their way, making the leaves rustle and me, shiver. And the moon; it mischievously was a spectator to the whole landscape. As I observed this, absorbed this, I knew I wouldn't be able to capture it in an artificial box known to be a warehouse of moments.
After a few minutes on the watch, I had to part ways with this scenery. As my friends and I drove around the city basking in the night glory, an unanticipated feeling kept bothering me. I had to get back to that same spot! May be the unsatisfied photographer in me demanded to frame that topography. We drove through the night with fatigue laden eyes but right as we reached the location, I captured the riverscape.
The amiable river welcomed us back by smashing its waves in symphony at the edge of the platform where we stood. The sky quietly changed its appearance, mixing a slight dash of orange with the existing blue. The tranquil hill on the other side of the river showed off the scattered patches of frozen snow. The illuminated souls of the houses were now some minuscule lights that were visible like a Morse code on paper. I did capture this exquisite countryside but no, I yet was discontented. The view which was in front of me, was simply not comparable to the one that was now history.
The emotions gushed in me and I punched the air as if it were its mistake for not making the present as captivating as the past. Slowly, with no other alternative but to accept the situation, it dawned on me that may be this is what it is about. May be a few things can only be felt and not captured. May be some moments are positioned to make us learn the art of acceptance and subsequently, co-exist with the reality. And then may be, some are just to be chased, never achieved.
“ We think it's important to point out that the process of creating an art piece is as important as the finished work itself. The process of creating art involves a lot of skills that can also be applied on practical aspects of life that can improve our communities, and on a bigger scale, our country. Skills like exploring and understanding different ways of seeing, or providing creative solutions to problems, can be developed when one appreciates and practices art. ”
