J A S M I N E
For the second time this week ❤. Jasmine is what you can smell in our face oil, a naturally relaxing scent which helps to lift the mood at the end of the day (don't just take my word for it, check out the scientific studies quoted in my latest blog post, 👆 link in bio). Our senses deserve to be pampered on all fronts. Not only does it help to make our face oil smell great, it has the power to tone skin, helping both dry and oily patches to become balanced again. Do you worry about using an oil on oily skin? Look out for ones that tone skin, like jasmine ⭐⭐⭐. ⚡

🎶 Whip it up. Whip it up. Whip it. 🎶
Whipping up creamy Shea butter for ya. 🌰
Using natural ingredients as usual for you to have your best skin.
Shea butter is good for dry skin, normal skin, psoriasis, eczema, massages, sun bathing, stretch marks, and everyday use. 🌰
Comes in 16oz and 8oz jars on klaybotanics.com.
Shield your skin from UVA, UVB and Blue Light with this convenient, water-resistant sunscreen stick. Formulated with non-nano zinc and California Poppy, this physical formulation provides effective antioxidant-rich protection, while being gentle and pleasant feeling on the skin. Ultra-moisturizing cocoa-butter infused formula glides on smoothly without leaving a white residue.
Why is it safer?
Technology: At Beautycounter, we prohibit chemical SPF filters due to their high potential for skin irritation. We prefer to use physical sunscreens, more commonly known as mineral sunscreen. Zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, sit on the surface of the skin and physically bounce or reflect sun’s rays away from the skin. Mineral sunscreens are great for people with sensitive skin as well as babies and kids.
Formula: Our lightweight, water-resistant sunscreen stick uses non-nano zinc oxide. It’s also formulated with organic coconut oil and organic shea butter to deliver an ultra-moisturizing experience without the need for neurotoxic preservatives and serious allergens like MIT (Methylisothiazolinone). And, we never use Octinoxate & Oxybenzone ingredients known to contribute to the collapse of coral reefs around the world making our sunscreens safer for both people and our oceans.
I’ve been transitioning my beauty routine to be more simplified and clean lately. We’ll see how well I do on the hair part considering a lot of the cleaner hair products that I’ve researched contain a lot of oil extracts and usually use aloe juice as a second ingredient and so far, in my curly hair experiences, too much oil is not the business and my hair for some reason doesn’t respond too well to aloe. 😔
Minimalist Magic. @BuckNakedSoapCompany was born out of necessity. When baby Elias, son of Buck Naked founders Rina and John, developed skin irritations from traditional baby products, they immediately realized they needed more natural and gentle alternatives. Through her creations, Rina discovered a calling for formulating luxurious skin-soothing products using only the purest of ingredients. As a small-batch brand, Buck Naked Soap Company crafts each unisex product with ultimate care and precision; ensuring the use of cold pressed processes and sumptuous, healthy, healing botanicals. Vegan. Cruelty-free. This is #BetterBeauty

Natural skincare CAN be effective skincare! To choose wisely be sure that the ingredients list doesn’t have water because water is natural and can really dilute the active ingredients meaning more profit for the company and less effectiveness for you. Look for minimal ingredients because with 30 natural ingredients no single one ingredient will be able to make a difference. Pick one by someone who has an education in skincare (like an Esthetician or dermatologist) because we invested in an education to know what works together and doesn’t. Not all natural ingredients will be effective but there are some great ones! #naturalskincare#ecobeauty#greenbeauty#cleanbeauty#esthetician#facemask#facemasks#naturalbeauty#beautytips#skintips#glowingskin

Need a favor? Just ask! We love these little trios we made for Dina’s 50th birthday! We chose a Lavender|Castile soap, a unisex scent great for for the whole family. Our fan-favorite, Kiss My Citrus lip balm. And the guests had a choice of Lemony Zest or Rosie Relaxation body polish. Each “thank you” was hand written for a personalized touch 🌱 Scroll for more images. Happy 50th Dina!
